Amazing earbuds

Love my new earbuds so much, battery life is awesome, quality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and it connects to my phone instantly, and after hours of listening it doesn’t hurt my ears, I wear them mainly to work, and they haven’t come off once, so happy with my purchase, besides they are such a cool accessory

Great Sound Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bose you can't beat the quality of sound. I like the feature to hear other surrounding noise sometimes, however I recently heard someone I didn't know singing next to me to my tunes in public because they could hear my play list. It was awkward to say the least.

The Awareness is the big draw

I wear headphones mostly for gaming and music. The best thing about these headphones is that I can hear myself when talking and I don't sound like I'm underwater like with over the ear headphones. They are also very comfortable such that I regularly forget I have them on. I have had to re-pair to my computer a couple times, but it is easy enough.

Pretty good

I bought these to use for exercising/trail running as my AirPods don’t stay in my ears very well. The sound is good, especially when considering that they are not in-ear buds. The controls for volume, etc are not always easy/reliable. That being said, they work pretty well for exercising.

Simply the best

I've been using the Ultra Open Earbuds for about 5 months now. These are game changers. All my previous earbuds are now obsolete and unused. The sound quality is amazing, even at super low volumes in a quiet place the music is full, rich and detailed. Somehow things sound as if they're happening in your surroundings rather than in your ears. But at the same time, familiar music will sound just like you remember it, only better and with with more detail. I also love how clean the buds remain, even after hours of continual use, just wipe with a dry tissue and they're fine. The battery life is excellent and if they do get low on power they charge very quickly in the case. The fit is both very secure and very comfortable, which is an engineering acheivement. These are also great for your personal safety and the safety of your ears, since you can hear what's going on around you and if you're wearing them properly, I don't think they could go loud enough to damage your hearing. The only people these wouldn't be good for are those who like to listen to their music at extremely loud volumes or those who need noise isolation. Yes these are expensive but I use them for hours every day so for me they are well worth the cost. The fit does take some getting used to if you're accustomed to putting buds in your ear canal. These just clip on the outer portion of your ear like jewlery. Also be aware that when you first put them on - they will sound louder if you push them down towards your ear canal. But don't be misled by that - down at your ear canal is not where they're meant to be. Accept the lower volume from where they want to sit naturally and simply turn up the volume if you need to. You'll soon realize how great they sound from higher up where they're designed to be.

Best listening experience ever!

I bought these about 3 weeks ago and I have never been more pleased with any earbud I have used in the past! I have three other brands which include iPods and nothing compares to the comfort and stay-ability and sound of the open ear buds from Bose. I love listening to my books while waiting at an appointment, and being able to hear when my name is called.

Honest opinion. Great buds

These buds, and their concept, are unlike any other buds I've used. The earring like design was weird and unique when I first saw it. I gave it a try and loved them. They fit nicely and are, at least for the most part, comfortable to use for long periods of time. The buttons work really well, and I'm a fan of the customization features. Though hope to see more in the future with updates. The initial setup and connection was very fast and easy as well. My use case is primarily gym and work, which is construction. For the gym, it's nice to be immersed in my own music, but still be aware of others and to hold a conversation when necessary. Same goes for construction. Long days and hours, now broken up by music, shows etc. while still being safe and conscious of my surroundings and the other trades and workers around me. Keep in mind though that there is no noise cancelling as that's not what they are for. Overall I love these buds. I do hope they add some more colors, as well as accessories to it

Great for people who can’t keep earbuds in!!

Finally!!!…..an earbud I can wear. I have ears that don’t hold earbuds in ver well. These clip around your ear like a cuff style earring plus they are small and come in many great colors. These are my new go to earbuds. Thankyou Bose for thinking about those of us with fitting issues!

Everything I've been looking for in open buds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a good pair of open earbuds for several months. Trying to avoid "bone conducting" because the headband is much more bulky than I want to deal with, and would like something portable that I can just drop into my pocket when not in use. I started with the Raycon Open Earbuds model RBO725, but they have an audio lag that was completely unacceptable, which I noted in reviews left on their website as well as Amazon. The audio quality was decent for the price, but I just couldn't deal with the lag, and the case was a bit bulky. Next was a pair of Sony LinkBuds model YY2953. I love the super-compact clamshell case, and the audio quality was very good. However, despite the "open" design, it still muffled ambient sounds, making conversation difficult and reducing awareness, which was the whole purpose for getting open earbuds. Enter the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds. Yes, they come at a premium price, but they deliver everything I was looking for: full open ears, no lag, and excellent sound quality. I did see a couple reviews that criticized the microphone, but as I rarely use earbuds for phone calls, that isn't much of an issue for me, and, to be honest, I haven't even tested yet. My only quibble is the case: I tend to prefer clamshell cases rather than, well, for lack of a better term, cigarette pack style lid. This is the same style case/lid that's used by Samsung's Galaxy Buds3 and Pro, Google's Pixel Buds, and Apple's AirPods and off-brand clones, among others. Yes It's a popular case design, but I just don't care for it. The buds themselves clip to the ear, which is an odd sensation at first, but I got used to it quickly, and then they're surprisingly comfortable. When I mute/pause my video/music, I can carry on a normal conversation as if the buds aren't even there, and I have full situational awareness, which is what I was looking for. And when I play my video/music, the sound is amazing, especially in "immersive mode." The app is mostly good. The equalizer could use more than three bands, and it would be really nice if it would display the battery level of the case. I really appreciate that it's compatible with "Find my Device," given how expensive these things are, and I like being able to customize the name and the "shortcut" button. Truly, the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are everything I've been looking for. The choice of colors is also a nice touch.
