[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a month ago, and only have good things to say, except for one small issue. Pros: 1. The fit in my ear is OUTSTANDING. The way these are designed to use different parts of your ear for support is brilliant. They fit snugly without moving, they don't fall out while running/in the gym, and they don't press too tightly on my inner ear (unlike some "Pro" level in-ear earbuds). 2. The noise cancellation is excellent, much much better than air pods (even the pro version). 3. The 'Aware' mode is not the best transparency mode out there, but is more than enough for normal use. 4. The sound quality is more than good enough, you're not going to get much better out of earbuds. Cons: 1. These pick up a fair bit of wind noise. When running, I usually have to switch off the noise cancellation, but this is OK since the noise isolation is still pretty good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These buds are really only good for listening to music.. or if you're moving a lot they won't fall off. I have them a low score because they have connection delays.. incoming and outgoing calls. And I couldn't understand why.. but they suddenly disconnect.. and refuse to reconnect until you go into the Bluetooth settings, put them back in the case.. and redo the connection.. it was annoying I felt for 300 bucks they should hand performed much better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Bose Ultra Opem Earbuds. I purchase them for work as a Motorcoach Operater they are perfect. I can drive my schedual and still be awaer of whats going on around me. The sound of the music has you inside of the music not just listening to the music. The earbud feeds your ears the tunes makes them hunger for more it sounds so good. I love then more than my audio glasses. Thanks Boses again you have out done yourself!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been surprised how much I like these open earbuds. I tried them out in the store, each time I wandered by a store, for a while. My hesitation was primarily about the call quality. I read some less-than-stellar reviews about that. My experience is that the open design is perfect for situations where I do not want to be, or cannot be, isolated from the outside world. They weigh next to nothing and I've worn them until the battery runs out (many hours later) without any real discomfort. They're great. And for the call quality - I've had some not realize I'm on a headset, and others question about the noise - but I think that's mostly about the environment. I hope/expect firmware updates to perhaps make the calls even stronger.

My first impression of these Ultra open earbuds was that their design is different from any other earbuds I've ever used. There is a bit of a learning curve if you are used to plugging up your ear canal with more traditional noise cancelling earbuds as well as the unique cuff design, but once you get used to the feel and fit of how these should be worn, it's a game changer. Even with hours of use, they are so lightweight and comfortable, you'll forget you are wearing them. Battery life seems to be good, and you get a couple/few charges from the case as well. I use headphones or earbuds primarily for listening to music. I don't usually use them for calls, nor do I exercise with them on, although these feel stable enough on your ear that I think they would handle activity well without falling off. As with my Bose QC 35 II over-ear headphones, I would have liked a bit more volume, but the richness and clarity of the sound more than makes up for this. I will opt for sound quality over volume, and I find that I tend not to max out the volume on these anyway to have the best and most enjoyable listening experience. The open ear design and immersive sound makes you feel like the music surrounds you, which you will never have experienced in any other earbuds you have ever used. While absence of these features is not a deal breaker for me personally, it is worth mentioning that these are not noise cancelling, nor is there a rubber ear piece adapter option to make them fit into your ear canal to make them noise cancelling (which would be contradictory to their open ear design), the case does not have wireless/Qi charging, and the call quality according to the party on the other end was not clear/loud enough. (On my end the call sounded fine). I actually prefer being able to hear what's going on around me and to engage in a conversation if I need to while wearing these earbuds. The only other thing I would like to see improved might be the modes in the Bose Music App settings. I have not really been able to notice any discernible difference between most of the modes offered, but again this is hardly a deal breaker as there is an equalizer and some other settings you can adjust and most music apps also have their own equalizers for additional fine tuning to your listening preferences. I will be interested to see what additional features and/or improvements future updates may bring to these earbuds. These Ultra Open earbuds have quickly become my favorites in the short time I have been using them, and I know they will be my go-to because nothing compares to the quality you expect from a Bose product, the immersive sound these offer, and the ability to wear them for long periods of time without any discomfort or having to recharge them often. I'd have given these a solid 4.5, but 1/2 stars weren't an option, nothing is perfect and there is always room for improvement. I definitely would recommend to go buy yourself a pair – you won't be disappointed!

I'm always on the go, and I really like this product since I can hear my surroundings, and it clips to my ear. Very versatile, and I won't lose it, and the other products hurt my ear. Inside this one is very convenient and comfortable, and I keep losing earbuds. When I saw that this one was clipped on, I knew I had to have it. And the sound was amazing, and I'm very happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best earbuds I have ever owned. Easy to use and never fall off. I always have issues with in ear earbuds. These allow me to do anything I want and also hear anything important outside whatever is playing on my Ultra Earbuds. The sound is spectacular.

I would have given them a four, however, they have started intermittently skipping. Sounds like static. Today, the right one quit completely. They are about 3 or 4 months … new! Bose, these need to be replaced!! Also they are a little heavy and the speaker doesn’t stay up on my ear. They fall backward due to the weight. They are very lightweight but the cartilage on my ear doesn’t hold them forward into the ear. The sound is Bose quality. I don’t have an issue with that. But the intermittent skipping (static like sound) and the right one completely silent leads me to believe this pair is defective.
