I liked the idea that I could listen without having something in bedded in my ear canal; I find these to be comfortable, several times I have fallen asleep with them on. Now these have fit into my lifestyle because I wake up a lot and can't get back to sleep; and with these I can comfortably rest and listen to symphonic music and not wake my wife. Listening to rock while I'm awake is also nice. They do have some drawbacks, they are set to a peak volume and at times normal listening will be interrupted by daily ordinary noise; I would say that they are best used in silence or when you don't mind being interrupted by a question. I understand why the technology doesn't allow for an increase in volume, they're tiny speakers reproducing the sound of many instruments just outside the ear canal to tun them up higher would cause it to sound like an earpiece on an old transistor radio. If this doesn't concern you try them, you are allowed a "test drive".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the earbuds now for about three years And I am really satisfied with how it prefers especially when I need to isolate myself from the busy world and when you're right to even write an airplane I used it for like two flights now and it really does reduce the sound from the plane and makes you Be on the plane but not on the plane and that's how powerful the The Isolation of the sound is from the product and I really love the The earbuds it doesn't hurt even if it's on your in your ear for a long period of time and sometimes you forget that you have it yes really really satisfied.

I wear them when I am out bowling or in places where I need to stay engaged with my environment but also want to listen to music. I also have a pair of the original quiet comfort headphones which are great for blocking out any background sound and allowing me to just tune everything out. I have small air canals so most in ear types don't work for me. Both of my Bose are so comfortable I can wear them for hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my headphones and earbuds for over three years and although they are just starting to show a little bit aware, the sound quality is still just as good as the first day I got them. In terms of this speaker I have, I carry that thing with me everywhere I go to enjoy amazing quality sound in any situation.

I have had my Bose Ultra Open Earbuds for about a month now. I am really surprised at how well the sound quality is for being an open earbud. These earbuds are perfect for the office environment if you need to listen to the conversations or loud speakers announcements. It is not very well suited for the gym with the gym music going. I do have my Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra earbuds for being around the gym. I am disappointed in the battery life in immersion mode. I used my Bose Ultra Open Earbuds to do yard work and left them in immersion mode and about 3 hours i got a 10% battery alert. To be fair though when I started my yard work i had been wearing my Bose Ultra Open Earbuds all day, so they were not fully charged. Speaking of which the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are so comfortable to wear all day. I don't even notice I had they on all day. I really like these Ultra Open Earbuds so far.

I have never seen the open earbuds concept delivered in such high sounding fashion. The integration with the Bose Allows the products to be seen and be able to determine the best audio quality at all times. I have many Bose products and continue to expand on the line up. I still very much rock the Bose Sunglasses every day even though the lenses are pretty scratched up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always loved the BOSE sound, and I’m not disappointed with my ultra open buds! I like that they allow me to be aware of my surroundings, and the sound is so pure i don’t mind that it’s not overly loud.

These are my favorite for workouts and yard work. They're fantastic because you get great sound while still staying aware of your surroundings. I can listen to music and still hear my wife if she calls me—something you don't get with most headphones.
