[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these earbuds about a month ago. They are very comfortable on the ear and like being able to hear around me. The only downfall is when talking on them, others report sound very distant so hard to hear.

I already returned one pair that broke in less than 6 months. the replacement I got is already having the same problems!!!!! I will be returning AGAIN!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my bose open earbuds about two weeks ago. They are extremely comfortable to wear. I love that you can adjust the equalizer. The sound is crystal clear if your listening to music or watching a movie. The connection is not so clear with phone calls. The volume is very low and goes in and out. You have to keep repeating yourself , basically yelling to be heard by the caller,which defeats the purpose of wearing earbuds.I feel like the description should state that these are not the best earbuds for people that purchase earbuds for primarily phone communication.

Overall, I was very impressed with these earbuds. It’s very hard to get decent ones that sound good and are also completely wireless, comfort is a pretty important element as well. The ultra open earbuds have ALL of these features. I wasn’t sure what to expect when listening with these earbuds, I figured there would be a lot of sound leakage but to my surprise they are very personal. Listening to music doesn’t broadcast to the rest of the room like some open headphones can. They work as well as the Bose sunglasses do in this. In addition, the sound quality is crisp and amazing. They really compare to my QC45s which is exceedingly difficult to do with smaller drivers that earbuds are limited to. I’m guessing the open design in exploited in some way to make them sound as great as they do but definitely not a disappointing sound experience at all. Now of course I must address the fit as that’s probably the most uncommon feature these have. It does take some finagling and adjusting to get them into place, it’s hard to give advice since everyone’s anatomy is different. Eventually when you do find the spot they’re supposed to be, they hang on similar to clip on earrings and aren’t uncomfortable at all, I can wear them for much longer than any earbud I’ve tried so far. They tend to stay in place for the most part but when you’re new it might seem annoying to get used to and shift around, or did in my case. But it’s not rocket science. I have not really used these while doing anything remotely physically strenuous so can’t accurately comment on their stability in action. I was very fortunate to test these and am glad I got to experience them - they are definitely my favorite go to daily earbuds now. Definitely an upgrade over the more typical earbud models in sound and comfort.

Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are precisely how they are described. It is a stunning device where it is not inside your ears but hears everything clearly, and you can listen to your surroundings. The only downfall I wish for is that sometimes you do not want to listen to your surroundings to focus on your music. Ultimately, it is a great device.

I am so impressed with these!! I was leary with purchasing such a high end product without first trying to test it. But....no regrets here!! I love that I can adjust the sound via my phone, I can get more bass and less of treble for music, and turn around and adjust for the podcasts I listen to.

Very comfortable and cool earbuds! I can easily wear it for more than 3hrs without any issue. I like the design and spatial sound Bose provided. Highly recommend to anyone who does not need noise cancellation, but still wanna go out with a pair of earbuds.

I bought these like three weeks ago, but Everything looks great, the size, the weight, but the sound (which is the most important thing) is not good only because they go far away from the inner ear, if I push it a little bit they sound great, but you can’t be pushing it all the time, I'm undecided whether to return them or not?

I needed constant music in my head to drown out the negative thoughts and these were a lifesaver! I'm so grateful! The sound quality is crystal clear and they are so discrete I can wear them anywhere! I have the powder blue color and get compliments on them daily! I appreciate that they don't have to go into my ear canals which make them that much more comfortable to use, especially with multiple piercings in my ears. My dog even LOVES them!

Purchased about 3 weeks ago mainly for use when traveling. I’ve not had the opportunity to use them at length but have a trip coming up soon. I’ve been wearing them around the house to get used to them. Still trying to get comfortable with them,as they are totally different than any headphones or buds I’ve ever experienced. But, they sound great! I love Bose innovations!
