The newest model is the absolute best and I assumed they could not improve from the last model of open earbuds, I bought three years ago. Surprise! They outdid themselves! The sound is stunning! I am a forever fan of Bose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly I regretted turning down the quiet comfort for the ultra open. I have to turn the volume up to 100%100 communication is still very poor. I forced to put my controller on speaker phone. It’s very irritating. In addition, I missed the tosh future as well.

I really wanted these. I should have looked into them a little more, but I'm not totally disappointed.. They are great for comfort. Forget they are there sometimes. Almost walked into shower with them on. They aren't bangers tho... they are too quiet and take a lot of maneuvering to even get close to the volume I would like. For the cost, they should have some kind of improvement on this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had these Bose Ultra Open earbuds for almost 2 weeks now and they are great. I work in a very loud warehouse and these headphones cancel out enough that the machines don’t pierce through the music. On top of comfortably and having great sound quality they still allow me to hear my surroundings. Only downside is that sometimes on ear will randomly disconnect and I have to put them both in the case to reconnect the one.

Owning every earbud and headphones made I can honestly say these earbuds are the best ever. Bar none. They don’t enter the ear canal which iOS a huge deal since I wear aids. The fidelity is awesome and the comfort level is an eleven on a ten scale. I want to buy another pair I love them so much but the ones I have a so good. And the battery life is incredible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Asked for these as a birthday present and I am so glad that I did. I wear them while walking the dog, exercising, cleaning, gardening, and anything else that needs to get done. My initial desire for this particular pair was so I could still hear what is going on around me. As a mom I always need to keep an ear out, not to mention while walking the dog I always like to be on alert, and these are perfect for that. Don't get me wrong, if I have them up loud enough I can drowned out all noise around me as well. I also don't have to worry about these falling out if my ear since they hug the ear lobe instead. I barely remember that I have these on they are so comfy. The only negative is that the charging case doesn't let you know how charged it is, but it holds a charge for a long time.

I like the sound quality and the way they fit my ears comfortably and don’t fall out like my Apple AirPods do. I also like that they are not noise canceling as I use them when I am out walking and need to hear what is going on around me. What I don’t like. I cannot use these to talk on the phone. The person I am speaking with cannot hear me well due to noise around me. Super annoying. Also-I seem to have issues with one earbud randomly going in and out. And occasionally I have issues having earbuds connect to my iPhone. I have to say that for the price and the Bose name, I am not super impressed

Had these for about a month, having difficulty learning how to use them, there's a lot of extra things here. They also have wonderful fabulous sound. The quick start guide could have been much more thorough, even for a quick start guide, as well as the definitions of what all those programs are about. I really do absolutely love them but I'm going to be months figuring them out. For instance that extra piece that goes around the outside of the earbud that appears to have something to do with how well they stay in the ear--no explanation or description or reason to use found anywhere.

If I was rating the looks/design I would give it a 100/10, I love the looks and the futuristic style headphone… However, sound quality when you are in the phone (which is mainly why I got them) is poor. They cannot hear clearly, sound will sporadically stop working, sometimes even making a weird loud noise on your ear. I continue trying the product because I’m a huge fan of bose, hopefully with a few upcoming updates they can work around them. The idea is there, product was rushed…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a Bose fan for years and actually traded up for the ultra open earbuds and received $100 off! What a deal! Purchased primarily to connect to my soundbar 700 to hear television programs better without blasting everyone else out. This is great feature to connect via Bluetooth that makes viewing more enjoyable. I also wear the earbuds for workouts too and they sound great in immersive mode. Pricey but glad I bought.
