This has been one of my best purchases ever. The speaker is small, loud, but not too loud. I like the fact that I can carry it with me with plenty of ease. The microphones are high quality, too. I could not expect anything less from JBL.

This thing is a BEAST! We are a Bose family but this thing has us rethinking. We got it for its water resistant qualities so we can use it poolside for movies on the projector. The sound is full and rich. We can hear the slightest sounds on the movies. I also like that you can pair up more than one speaker using the app, plus control the bass and treble and lighting effects. It also comes with two wireless mics for those into singing, or want to use it for a crowd.

The JBL PartyBox Encore has proven to be a versatile and portable Bluetooth speaker that excels in music playback. I managed to grab two units at a discounted price of $179 each, which I found to be a good deal. However, the original price seemed way too steep for the overall performance. When used for music listening, these speakers deliver excellent sound quality with decent bass, and the ability to pair them together in TWS mode enhances the overall listening experience. For karaoke purposes, there are some drawbacks worth noting. The ECHO effect produced by the microphones might not meet everyone's expectations, as it tends to sound dry and somewhat artificial. Additionally, when using two speakers in TWS mode, the music is distributed evenly between both speakers, providing a rich stereo experience. However, the vocals from the microphones are only routed to the speaker to which they are assigned. This can create an imbalance in the sound output, affecting the overall karaoke experience. While the JBL PartyBox Encore is a great choice for music enthusiasts who prioritize portability and powerful sound, it may not be the ideal option for those seeking a seamless and balanced karaoke experience, especially when using multiple speakers. Nevertheless, for solo use or smaller gatherings, its long-lasting battery life of 8 hours or more and impressive sound quality make it a solid choice.

I bought this for my son’s family, girl 4 and boy 2. My son informs me that they have had hours of fun already. I liked it in concept because it is compact and Blue Tooth, so it’s easy to set up, operate, break down and put away. Very pleased with it.

This exceeds my expectation in every way! Solid sound quality, portable, connectable (Bluetooth, aux-in), and the best part: 2x superb quality microphones with Karaoke echo control! The microphones feel solid, heavy-ish and professional grade, and easy turn on/off without sending any blipping noise to the speaker either. Just amazingly built. I really can't ask for more especially for this price point.

It is a good speaker, good sound, easy and fast Bluetooth connectivity, easy to charge and take to another place, the light set is great, the battery does not last long enough if you are enjoying a night of drinks (you must have it connected to the electrical outlet , the price is a little high but always trusting the brand, the microphones are a little heavy and the sound is not very satisfactory, maybe we can get better ones by buying them online, my opinion about the speaker is that it exceeds my expectations and the I would purchase again!

Favorite Christmas gift for my 16 year old daughter last year and favorite gift for my 20 year old son this year! He coveted hers and tried to steal it every time he came home from college. It’s awesome as a speaker and equally great for karaoke. The sound effects in the app are fun too for goofing around with at parties.
