This is THE solution for a portable party/karaoke speaker. Sufficiently powerful for large indoor and medium outdoor spaces. The bass is mind blowing, digging deep as low as 35hz with ease. The overall sound is pleasant with deep bass (that is well balanced by default but will knock your socks off with the bass boost enabled), clean mids and crisp treble. The sound remains well balanced even at higher volumes. The included microphones work great. The lights look really neat and sync up to music much better than any other party speakers i've personally seen. I have yet to test its battery life. The JBL PartyBox app adds some additional functionality such as a 3 band EQ and light customization, and the ability to remotely turn the speaker on so long as it is plugged in.

I love this speaker for its amazing sound quality, dynamic light show, and wireless mics. The speaker is very portable and splash proof, so I can take it anywhere and enjoy the party. The sound is loud and clear, with deep bass and crisp highs. The light show is fun and colorful, and it syncs to the music. The wireless mics are great for karaoke, and they have adjustable settings to enhance the vocals. The speaker also has a long battery life and a TWS feature to pair with another speaker.

I got 2 of these when there was a deal and with the price I paid, they are worth it. The mics are good and simple to sync with the speaker. The sound when I sing is descent enough and in my opinion, it's good enough with the price I paid. Yeah, can't compare to a professional or thousand dollar karaoke system but this JBL partybox surely give you enough warm, bass sound when you sing. It can also pair with another speaker BUT be aware of that the mic that comes with the speaker only gives out sound from that speaker even though 2 speakers have been paired. I haven't used it without the plug so I don't know how long the battery can last, my guess is few hours and that should be good enough for outdoor fun.

Great sale price, quality of speaker for music and the microphone is unbelievable. You can sync two speakers together and have 4 wireless mics at once and the colors on the speaker interchange together. You can add sounds and move the colors from your phone. You can also control mic and speaker volume from phone, which is nice if you are not sitting right next to the speaker. You can change the base and treble on the microphone and add bass boost. Nice quality! Love the handle!

Hi, I bought this speaker less than a month ago and suddenly it stopped working for no reason. I never dropped it or even let water fall on it. My sister-in-law bought the same speaker on the same day as me and hers is working perfectly. I wanted to know how I could touch the product

Favorite Christmas gift for my 16 year old daughter last year and favorite gift for my 20 year old son this year! He coveted hers and tried to steal it every time he came home from college. It’s awesome as a speaker and equally great for karaoke. The sound effects in the app are fun too for goofing around with at parties.

Definitely worth it! I use this for my own personal music, as well as when my family and I sing Karaoke! I also took it up to our TV in the living room to use as a “soundbar” but better!!!! Super clear and can adjust bass, mid, treble using the JBL App. Super worth it!

This is a surprisingly powerful little system, and a great value at $199 when on sale. The wireless JBL mics are usually $99 per pair and are included. Amazon sells this system as the Encore “Essentials” that doesn’t have the mics or the built in dials to control bass, treble, echo and mic volume that this one has, so you would basically need to buy mics and a mixer to get the same functionality as this. Another nice feature is the ability to connect additional JBL partyboxes wirelessly through the TWS, which is simple to do. You can also connect to your TV with Bluetooth through Amazon Fire boxes (or other brands I’m sure) and get unlimited karaoke music on YouTube.

The sound quality is good and the microphones are well made. We've had several jam sessions since we've bought the machine and everyone has a blast. The only down side is that you can't purchase extra mics to go with the 2 you get. It's not to heavy and it's very simple and easy to use right out of the box.
