It works amazing and it definitely a more realistic option. The noise isn’t too loud like some and creates a beautiful hairstyle!

Best purchase ever! Now I’ve only had it for a few weeks, but it has been wonderful every time! Now I did watch some videos before I used it, because I had no idea what I was doing. I definitely suggest doing that so you can use it to its full potential. I have extremely curly hair and the paddle brush really smoothed it out my hair without needing a flat iron. Never knew that could be possible! So if you are debating in buying it. I say YES do it!

I bought this styler thinking it would replace my other hair tools but it has not been what I thought my curls go away after 20 minutes and the blowout that I want does not stay even with special products .I have also tried no products when styling thinking is the product but no difference plus my hair ends up frizzy.Not worth the money.

I used to have the revlon blow dryer/brush which was amazing and always gave me great results. I switched to the shark because I wanted something that wouldn’t damage my hair and also had good reviews. I was so excited to try all the attachments- especially the circular brush. I will say that many of these attachments require you to have a lot of time to get the result you want. If you’re planning on using the brush you’ll have to go over it a few times for it to look good. Otherwise it’ll just get frizzy later in the day. However, the curling attachment is absolutely phenomenal. I haven’t used anything like it before and it’s crazy how much volume it gives my hair. This is my go-to style now. I would recommend for anyone who’s been wanting a Dyson. This is a more affordable option and I think it does a good job.

This is the best hair dryer ever. I have a lot of hair and it is super long, it can normally take over 30 mins to dry my hair. W the flex style it takes like 15 max. It’s insane how fast it dries. I use the curling attachments when I have an event and they turn out really pretty, super easy to use. I used to air dry my hair all the time bc of how much of a hassle blow drying was but now I blow dry all the time, and my hair hasn’t been damaged. Cant recommend this enough

(Before reading the review: I’ve attached a photo of my hair using the Shark and Dyson. You can take a guess which side [right/R or left/L] was which device and I’ll put the answer at the end of the review). After some research, I decided to buy the Shark primarily due to cost and the twist feature. (Also just to note, I really only wanted one of these hair styling devices for the curls/blowout look, so I will mainly be focusing on the “wrap” attachment and regular blow drying since those were the two functions I used before I ultimately decided to return it). First, things I like about it. The twist. Made regular blow drying so easy and similar to how one would use a regular blow dryer. When using the barrel attachment, the hold was strong. Once my hair was wrapped it did not move until the device was turned off. Cord was long. Different types of attachments, such as a diffuser which the Dyson does not come with. Second, the eh. I didn’t really believe the other reviews, but the Shark is a tad noisier than the Shark. I feel like that has more to do with the way the air comes out of the barrel - it’s stronger? and therefore louder than the Dyson. With the Dyson, it was primarily just loud at the filter end. But all hair dryers are loud, so how much of a difference noise makes is a personal preference. The buttons felt somewhat inconveniently placed. Cool shot is in the middle and other buttons are on the bottom. Sometimes I had difficulty feeling for the cool shot button. Felt like it was too far from the off switch. Would just but quicker and more convenient to not have to not constantly have to slide my hand up and down for the buttons. Finally, what I didn’t like. The two separate barrel attachments, only having one barrel width option, and no “long” barrel option for long hair. I have fairly long hair, and I felt that the barrel needed to be a bit longer to work better for me. It also would be way more convenient IMO to just be able to switch airflow direction like with the Dyson. The Shark did get really hot, and I was reading that Shark doesn’t really have an internal temperature monitor like the Dyson does. Part of the appeal of these devices is the “less heat damage” aspect, though heat is heat but we do what we can. I did feel like the Dyson did not get as hot, which could be good or bad depending on how you look at it. Answer to the photo: Left was Dyson, Right was Shark. Personally, I didn’t like the results of the Shark side the next day. Just to note, with the Dyson, I used the smallest diameter long length barrel. Obviously, I used the only barrel option Shark came with. I can’t remember if the diameters were the same or not, but I set both sides with hairspray and slept with my hair above my head as to not crush the curls. My hair was almost straight on the Shark side. Both times I used the Shark the waves fell so flat. For those results, it wasn’t worth the time and effort. TLDR: I ultimately decided to return the Shark. Didn’t like the results. Didn’t like the medium length (compared to original and long length barrels for Dyson) barrel, just too short for my long hair. Didn’t like having to change barrels for each side. Didn’t like the level of noise it produced. Buttons IMO inconveniently placed. Heat intensity questionable. I did like the swivel feature, more ergonomic. I did like the different types of attachments Included. I liked the price compared to Dyson.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Shark FlexStyle. The fact that it is everything in one is perfect. The top rotates to be a lightweight, easy blowdryer, it has the extension to make it a volume-adding blow drying, and has the attachments to curl my hair, one for the left side and one for the right. I have very fine straight hair and found the guide book very helpful to explain what heat setting and air setting I should use to curl my hair. It was easy to use and the curls were gorgeous. I'm so excited about this styling system, I've never been able to curl my hair on my own.

When the fan is cranked up to max, it feels like a mini leaf blower, very loud, but VERY powerful! I also love how many attachments it comes with. It is super versatile, so there's something for everyone. The system is a bit bulky, and you do need to keep the lower part clean, so make sure to follow the instructions and stay on top of that. As for the power button placement, I don't really have any complaints. This is my first device of this kind, so it doesn't bother me at all right now. I was a little disappointed with the packaging, though. The box made it seem like there was a carrying bag included for all the attachments, but there wasn’t. That felt a bit misleading. I don’t own many curling devices or fans because my hair is pretty fine and tends to break easily, but I really appreciate how I can control the temperature with the Shark FlexStyle, even switching to cold air. It’s such a relief to know I can style my hair without worrying too much about damage. Plus, the manual is surprisingly helpful! It gives clear advice on which temperature and power settings work best with each attachment, which is perfect if you're new to this kind of stuff and don’t know where to start. Overall, I’d say the Shark FlexStyle is a solid competitor to the well-known brand, and the price point makes it an affordable alternative that doesn’t skimp on quality.

I have extremely thick, long, type 2b hair that is hard to manage and style. This hair tool is excellent. The blow dryer alone is worth it but in 45 minutes I can go from straight out of the shower to salon perfect hair (which is a great timeline for the thick hair girlies). There’s a learning curve involved and watching tutorials and practicing are definitely key, as is using the right product. With experimentation and practice to find what works well for your hair specifically, this product is well worth it.

Being completely honest..I thought this would never do half as good as my Competitor and originator of this styling dryer,curler, brush set.. but this blew my mind. I rate this HIGHER than my other due to the speed the heat the air blew.. even the curling wand attachments... did a much better curl in my honest opinion!! I'm so happy with this I'm totally sold. whatever the other brands can do... Shark can really do better!! This shark styler is easy to use and works so great with ease. I can't wait to see what other styles I'll pull off with this. I'm hoping they come out with longer barrels and other attachments. Two Thumbs up and highly endorsed!!!!!!
