It works really well drying and styling at the same time. My hair has turned out great in many different ways. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new shark flex style styling system is amazing! This is basically all I need. I don’t have to travel will all my different types of hair styling products anymore. I’ll just bring this and save a lot of room in my luggage. Ok so starting with the hair dryer, it works great! It dried my hair fairly quickly. The volume brush gave my very flat hair much needed volume. My favorite is the automatic curler. It gets some getting use to but once you get the hang of it, your hair will turn out great. The hot air catches your hair and auto wraps it to curl. The hot air does not burn you like the traditional curling iron if you accidentally touch it so that’s a big pro. The attachments are very easy to put together. This set is my absolute favorite.

Dries hair FAST, I have very fine hair but a LOT of it, and this dried my hair in maybe half the time of a regular dryer - I dried my hair on the next to lowest heat setting- it didn’t burn my head at all but was still very effective at drying - I used the curling rods (comes with 2, one for left side and one for right side of head) and was pretty pleased with how easy they were to figure out See attached photos- for context, I used no products in my hair to combat frizz or add volume, etc. Had just washed my hair and was excited to test this out. Blow dried my hair until it was about 85% dry, and then grabbed a few sections to test the curling rods. I literally half-added this and only curled a small number of sections in my hair, so just know that if you spend more than literally 6 minutes curling your hair with this, I think it’ll look ten times as good. This thing isn’t too heavy, and the attachments are very easy to switch out (they do have a locking mechanism so they don’t fall out while you’re using them). A lot of people have commented on the volume, but honestly- it doesn’t sound any louder to me than a typical blow dryer? The noise is slightly more high pitched than a normal dryer, so maybe that’s what people don’t like, but after 5 seconds of using it the sound literally became white noise to me. Honestly, I think it’s quieter than most hotel dryers. My one complaint isn’t really a complaint, I just didn’t read and realize that there’s a different curling wand for each side of the head. So you’ll basically curl one side of your head, then swap out the rod and curl the other side. I kind of wish it was just one rod to do the whole head, but with how they’re designed that wouldn’t work (unless you didn’t care about which way the curls face.) Each rod is clearly marked on the end with an L or an R so there’s no guesswork.

For the sixe the air sryer alone is very powerful, The curling attachments do an awesome job and you have a seperate one for each side of your head! great thinking! the brushes ar substancial and the volume attachment gave me great results. the tips are stay cool so theyare easy to handle! THe only improvement woul be a carry case to keep everything together!

I was very excited to purchase this product. The design is very innovative. The mechanism to switch from straight wand to L-shape is very smooth and easy to use. I enjoyed the different heat and air speed settings. However, I did return the FlexStyler. I noticed my hair was very frizzy, to the point where I had to use a hair oil after styling. I also experienced a lot of hair breakage on the crown of my head. I experimented with different heat and air speed settings to reduce frizz and breakage, but I could not find the right combo. It is possible that the brush bristles were the cause. I also noticed my hair would get caught in the small gap between the wand and the attachment. Airflow in the round brush attachment was not consistent, there were pockets that had more air coming through which would cause fly aways in that section of hair. The paddle brush was great, but I wanted a round brush for volume. I even tried using my own hair brush with the concentrator, my hair was still frizzy. I ultimately went back to my hair dryer from before this purchase.

I have curly hair so I also have the diffuser but this works on my curls to smooth it out and straighten. I’m extremely impressed with the quality of this plus the value. It’s really outstanding performance.

It’s definitely worth the price and creates an efficient flawless result! It takes a while to figure out how to hold the styler when using the curling attachment but once you figure it out, it’s amazing! I get the results I’m looking for in half the time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this tool set! I have kinky curls that fight being tamed on a daily basis. I have to spend hours and many products to have smooth and frizz less hair for maybe half a day. The brush attachment of this Shark Flexstyle has been a game changer for my hair routine. I am able to dry with the regular blow dry setting in 9 minutes, attach the brush styler and tame the frizz in 15 minutes, and finalize with the curler within 30 minutes for an all day set! I have heavy, thick, and unruly hair before I began using this and now I look forward to doing my hair everyday!

Pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. I like that there’s options for both heat level and power. I’ve had it for about 2 years now and it’s held up pretty well, I don’t use it super often so I imagine daily use would be harder on it. I do wish there was an option to only use one curling attachment and just switch directions like with the Dyson, but it’s not too hard to just switch attachments. Overall a pretty good product for its price.

Pros- hair is smooth and curling is easy and quick once you get the hang of it. Styling without the heat is major. Cons- i have 2C curly hair and the blow out and smoothing/straightening tools don’t really work well, hair ends up over volumized and a flat iron is definitely required. Conclusion- this tool is likely a 5/5 for someone with straight hair, for someone with remotely textured hair there is much work to be done before they should responsibly claim it is for all hair types. I will keep this tool because I actually just curl my hair from wet and turns out pretty nice, I’ll attach pictures, and cuts styling time down dramatically because I don’t need to blow dry (despite recommended instructions) or flat iron first to achieve a wavy look.
