It is fairly user friendly but it does take a bit to figure out how it works best with different hair types. I found having your hair more dry than damp helped make it less frizzy and held the curl longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the FlexStyle as well as the Dyson equivalent so of course I had to do a comparison. What I like better than Dyson: the brush attachments are bigger, feel nicer and give more volume. The FlexStyle is lighter and easier to manage since you can twist the attachments around. The Dyson Air Wrap does not have a diffuser attachment whereas FlexStyle does. What I don't like about FlexStyle: it doesn't come with a case which is a big negative for me, there are far too many attachments to keep up with and try to find a place for. Some components feel a little cheap, there is some creaking and moving if you shake it around. Everything else is quite comparable. Neither is more loud than the other, the curling attachments are almost identical. Essentially, if you are looking to save money and you value volume I 100% recommend getting the FlexStyle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a neat product. It is definitely well made and of great quality. The hair dryer is wonderful and really does dry hair super fast. It has all the essentials, with three settings available for heat, as well as, three settings for the air flow. It also has my favorite button I must have on a hair dryer and that's the cool blast button. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the rotating styler tools to work. I think because I could not get the auto sensor to engage my hair. I have a chin length bob and so the round brush and curling attachments were just TOO BIG. I wish (hope) they would design or offer smaller tools that I could purchase separately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this hair styling system! The powerful dryer dries my hair quickly and efficiently, and the different size brushes are fantastic. I love using the bigger brush to straighten my hair and the medium brush attachment is amazing for beachy waves!

I really wanted to love this product. The drying speed works well. The hairstyling tools not so great.  The hair wands for curls are difficult to use. Hard to get hair to grip, no matter hair wetness. The round brush severely damaged my hair. My ends have never been so bad. My hair catches in it. I I lost 3 inches over a six month period. I finally went back to my dry at brush dryer. Do not recommend.

I bought this a few months again and wanted to use it a few times before I reviewed it. This does not fit my hair type (thin). It is bulky and kinda of heavy to use. Watch the settings when using the dryer because the meduim and high to get hot. The brush is so/so. The curl wands blows your hair and makes it kinda of hard to get your hair wrapped around at first and when you do get it to curl moving on to the next section the wand blows the curl I have done and looses the curl. This also gets very hot. Over all not happy with the purchase and wishes I would have returned it. Expecially how much it cost.

Very pleased with my Shark FlexStyle system. My hair is dryer in almost 1/2 the time and it's dried without damaging the hair. Love the cool air button to assist with keeping the style. IF I had a complaint it would be how heavy it is when you're trying to do the back of your hair. My arms got tired; however, I don't know of anyway to make it any lighter. I can actually dry my hair and NOT have to use a flat iron after drying. Big win!

Was very excited for this product. I like that the blow dryer is smaller and easier to handle. However the attachments are not worth it and make my hair feel dry and crispy. The curlers don’t curl anything, the oval brush does not easily flow through my hair and creates a frizz, paddle brush does nothing for me. The concentrator is the only one I am willing to use. Will use my revlon brow dry brush over this any day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So not only is it a blow dryer, it’s a curler, straightener, and provides a beautiful blowout!! I mostly use the curling attachment. It gives absolutely stunning curls that make you feel like you just got out of the salon. When I received this, I was ecstatic to try it out! I hear people saying that the curls don’t last. It’s true, the curls don’t last as long as a traditional curling iron but the VOLUME lasts! So, you can touch up your curls with your regular curling iron the next day. I recommend using a heat protectant with hold and hairspray each section after curling! The curls should last at least til the end of the day!

I’m in love with my flexstyle. There is a bit of a learning curve with it. The dryer itself dries my hair so fast. The curling irons took a little getting use to but it gives me big bouncy curls that last all day. You have to use it when hair is almost dry to get the curls you want. I’m still learning how to use the oval brush and straightening brush to make my hair as smooth as I’d like but the curls alone are worth the price. I love that it doesn’t damage my hair and makes it so shiny.
