Received this as a Christmas gift a 2-3 of years ago and it repeatedly turns off when I try to use the heat function. It only works when it is on the cold setting now. Followed the basic care instructions for any hairstyling tool and did my best to not fold the cord too much but pretty frustrating overall.

I bought this shark to save money instead of buying the Dyson, and I don’t regret it one bit! Super easy to use and switch out the pieces and love the fact that I can get on the website and buy even more pieces to go to it! It’s about the weight of a regular hair dryer and super easy to use. Leaves my hair feeling way softer than using a straightener or curling iron, and doesn’t leave damage. Easy to clean and store away.

The hairdryer is terrible; it has destroyed my hair to the point that I had to buy one from the drugstore and stop using this one. I don't know what kind of technology this hairdryer uses, but it seems specifically designed to damage hair. I absolutely do not recommend using the brush attachment; it burns your ends immediately. I've used hairdryers my whole life, and this is the first time I've had such a bad experience. I had to cut my hair because after the damage caused by this hairdryer, nothing worked to repair it. I'm truly disappointed.

I love the versatility of this product and how easy it is to switch between the attachments to get a fully styled look. Its design makes it easy to store after using and it fits easily into my hands without being too bulky and it’s easy to use. The cord is long enough so I don’t find myself glued to the outlet while using it. The only negative aspect is that it’s extremely loud with some attachments and settings.

I’ve always wanted a Shark FlexStyle, mainly because it’s designed to significantly reduce (though not completely eliminate) heat damage from blow-drying. When I purchased it, the copper special edition was the only color available. At first, I was a little disappointed in the color and worried it might chip over time—but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The coating is very high quality, and I don’t see any chipping or flaking happening anytime soon. I was especially excited to try the curling attachments. I have fine hair, but a lot of it, and I didn’t realize I would be receiving separate right and left curling barrels. While I did see two barrels in the product images, it wasn’t clear why there were two. Once I started using them, I found the learning curve to be frustrating. Because I have layers, I had to take extremely small sections and make sure each section was wrapped at the same length, which was difficult and time-consuming. The result was uneven curls that I didn’t love. I also discovered that I really don’t like the concept of having separate right and left barrels. When I curl my hair, I prefer to switch back and forth between sides to keep things even. Constantly removing and reattaching different barrels just isn’t practical for me. I’m sure someone with more advanced hairstyling skills could master this system, but it’s simply not for me. I may try again in the future, but I have a feeling the curling attachments won’t be a regular part of my routine. On the positive side, I absolutely love the brush attachment. It gives my hair noticeably more body and volume compared to regular blow-drying. The dryer itself is excellent—very high quality and much faster than my previous standard blow dryer. It doesn’t create a chaotic wind tunnel; instead, the airflow feels precise and intentional. I have slightly wavy hair, and after drying with this, I only need minimal straightening to get the smooth look I want. With my old dryer, I had to use a flat iron forever because it blew my hair everywhere and made it bend in odd directions. One other major downside is the cord. While the FlexStyle itself is lightweight, the cord is extremely thick, heavy, and bulky. When attempting to curl my hair, the cord twists up constantly, forcing me to stop and untangle it. It doesn’t swivel well due to the stiff bend where it connects to the base. The only way I could prevent it from twisting completely was by holding the cord near the base while curling, which isn’t ideal. Overall, I truly adore this blow dryer—it’s everything I hoped for in terms of performance, speed, and hair finish. The brush attachment is fantastic, and the dryer itself is a huge upgrade. However, two major issues hold it back from being perfect: the heavy, hard-to-maneuver cord and the curling barrel system. If Shark addressed these, this would easily be a five-star product.

I’ve had my SharkFlex for nearly a year now and can say it’s great, however my hair doesn’t last very long after using it! It’s great for a blow dry at home though :). For curls, I’d likely still use my curling wand! The power and ergonomics are great - can switch positions and switch out the ends - from that point of view it’s a great product!

I like the quality of this styler,it's pretty good for the price. The dryer itself feels sturdy and durable. You can band and adjust it, and it comes with different attachments.you can control the airflow strength and there is also a cool air function. The curling attachments can rotate in different directions, you switch sides depending on with way you want the curl.I have been using it for two years. Im very happy with the quality.

I cannot recommend this product strongly enough! I thought that I would be disappointed and end up buying the Dyson air wrap but I can’t say enough good things about this blow dryer. I have fine, but thick hair and it normally takes forever to blow dry but this has made it a breeze!

I had this for about 2 years, and recently it completely stopped working. I cleaned the dust out and kept really great care of it so it was disappointing. When it was working though, it was my favorite tool to use and play with! I was able to do so many different hairstyles with this. I would buy again once it goes on sale.

As a curly girl, this tool is SO FUN! it makes styling so much easier and quicker compared to a regular dryer and straightener. the diffuser is great as well for my curls on natural days. It’s easy storage and i’ve been able to clean my house of hair styling clutter. Love so much
