The blow dryer itself is fine. The temp does get pretty hot and if it’s close to your neck it can burn. However, I have short curly hair and I don’t think the brushes are meant for my hair texture. The brush head is way too big and not coarse enough to create tension to dry my roots. I think this is meant for those with longer non textured hair. While it did smooth my hair and provide a decent blow dry, I still had to use my standard blow dryer to get my roots. Disappointed but maybe they will create additional barrels later.

I was between this and the dyson and this is 100% worth it. It dries my hair super fast, and was not overpowering with noise. It can be used for blow drying straight, curled/blowout look with curlers, and with a round brush. I’m super satisfied with this dryer and think it is more than worth it to buy.

I used it 3 times to give it a chance before I write my rreview, I am so disappointed because I trust Shark's products and always encourage people to make these products 1st thing on their list. But thus one is very bad, my hair turns so frizzy and messy few minutes after I get it done, and it is not cheap it is so expensive. I regret purchasing it.

I bought this a few months ago and wanted to really learn how to use it before writing a review. First off I’ll start by saying I do really like it overall and don’t regret buying it. However, I feel that it doesn’t work quite like I was expecting or dry as fast as advertised. I’ll start with the positives. The size is really nice and it fits in my hand well and easy to hold. I read some complaints about it being loud but I don’t think it’s as loud as a lot of standard hair dryers. The attachments are easy to switch out and I have come to use the round brush attachment almost daily, even just to smooth out and freshen up my style between washes. The curling wands are interesting and took a while to figure out. I ended up finding some YouTube videos that were helpful. I have medium-thick, long hair with somewhat of a natural wave. The “curl” I get is more of a very loose wave. If you use the left and right side wands respectively and curl it the way Shark instructs, it mostly curls the ends and creates a hot roller look. I use the opposite wand per side and flip it upside down so I can wrap the hair around the barrel away from my face and leave the ends loose to get more a wave. It adds nice volume as it creates the waves. Now for the cons. The drying time is not any faster than my old standard dryer and in fact, may actually take longer. Especially if I use the round brush tool and dry it completely. Also, there’s no way you can actually dry your hair without heat. It would take hours for anyone with a reasonable amount of hair so that was a disappointment. And the curling wands don’t work at all without heat. In retrospect this make sense but since Shark claims you can dry and style without heat, I was hopeful.

This is one of the best hair tools l have ever used hands down. It is worth every penny. I have frizzy, thick, curly, and often unmanageable hair and this tool is so easy to use and it always looks great. It worked when I had hair to my waist and still works great on my shoulders length hair. It is also very simple to use, I took a bit to learn the best way to use it, especially the air wraps for curls - but now that I have practiced I can do my hair very quickly. It is a very versatile tool - in a pinch you can even use it to inflate and air mattress (I wish I was joking). My one complaint is that Shark changes the airwrap/curl attachments- and that is what I received in my kit. They did not work on my hair at all like the older once’s I had tried that my mom and sister have. I ended up ordering a pair of those (for way too much) on eBay, because Sharks new ones just don’t pick up my hair.

It's thick, snd I'd never considered there was another option than having to dry it with a blow dryer completely before heat styling it with a flat iron, curling iron or rollers. It takes so much time, most days I would just give up and throw it in a ponytail. Since discovering the Shark FlexStyle, I am styling my hair a lot more often because I can style it while I dry it. It's huge time saver. I will probably get rid of my other styling tools! There are two curling attachments, one for each direction of curls, a volumizing brush and a straightening brush. I especially love that I can get excellent results with low heat. My hair looks HEALTHY!

This is a great product. I love that it is a single device that does it all. We bought the diffuser attachment separately so it's totally complete. Couldn't be happier. I'm not sure it's even all that expensive if you consider the cost of buying separate devices that all individually do what this single item does for you. This was a gift for my teen daughter and she feels so special having such a cool device. It's hard to buy gifts for teens and she is still so thrilled with it. Very happy customer.
