[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not be happier with my Shark FlexStyle. I have thin, slightly frizzy hair that normally just lays flat on my head with a few flyaways. I normally can’t do much to add volume without it looking frizzy and then falling into a dull lifeless mess within an hour. This Shark however is amazing. First, it has it all! It is a regular blow dryer, a blow dryer with a paddle brush for sleek hair, a blow dryer with a round brush for a perfect blow out, and two curling wands. I love how the entire unit has three settings for air quantity and three setting for heat. I love how there is a curling wand for your right side and you left side and the air sucks the stands up and curls it in 10 seconds. The Shark is quick and can be used completely heat free. My hair has this smooth volume and looks like I had a professional blow out each day now. The Shark is a bit heavy so my arms are tired after using it, but it is soooo worth it.

I bought this a few months ago and wanted to really learn how to use it before writing a review. First off I’ll start by saying I do really like it overall and don’t regret buying it. However, I feel that it doesn’t work quite like I was expecting or dry as fast as advertised. I’ll start with the positives. The size is really nice and it fits in my hand well and easy to hold. I read some complaints about it being loud but I don’t think it’s as loud as a lot of standard hair dryers. The attachments are easy to switch out and I have come to use the round brush attachment almost daily, even just to smooth out and freshen up my style between washes. The curling wands are interesting and took a while to figure out. I ended up finding some YouTube videos that were helpful. I have medium-thick, long hair with somewhat of a natural wave. The “curl” I get is more of a very loose wave. If you use the left and right side wands respectively and curl it the way Shark instructs, it mostly curls the ends and creates a hot roller look. I use the opposite wand per side and flip it upside down so I can wrap the hair around the barrel away from my face and leave the ends loose to get more a wave. It adds nice volume as it creates the waves. Now for the cons. The drying time is not any faster than my old standard dryer and in fact, may actually take longer. Especially if I use the round brush tool and dry it completely. Also, there’s no way you can actually dry your hair without heat. It would take hours for anyone with a reasonable amount of hair so that was a disappointment. And the curling wands don’t work at all without heat. In retrospect this make sense but since Shark claims you can dry and style without heat, I was hopeful.

I bought this a month ago and was so excited to use it. I have long straight hair however and the product didn’t work for me. It does dry your hair quick but the curls wouldn’t last me 5 minutes after trying multiple techniques: wet/dry hair, mousse, hairspray, etc. I will be returning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hair dryer part seems powerful enough, it blows more than my usual dryer. It has most of the tools you’d want to use. There is a straightening brush, a curling brush and curling wands. The wands is where the learning curve comes in. There’s a left curl and a right curl. You put a small amount of hair next to it and it “sucks it “ to hold on. Then you slowly move towards your head. One curls one direction and you replace that with the other wand and it curls the other direction. Swapping tools is fairly easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very cool product. I like that while using it for a hair dryer it is very light weight. The different attachments are very nice. The curling attachments work well once you figure out how to get your hair to wrap around it. The straightener brush bristles seem a little fragile while using but, but they have worked.

I have very thick, wavy hair. The blow dryer is great, I love how small it is and being able to flip the barrel. Not a huge fan of the air wands, my curls did not hold at all. I’ve tried doing it somewhat damp, and also dry. My Lange duo styler is better when it comes to the curls. The flat brush and the round brush work okay.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try this brand to see how it performed and i was blown away. The power and heat is has to dry hair is amazing. I can dry my hair in 15 minutes compared to others 30 minutes. I really like this gold brown color and how light it is. My hair feels so soft afterwards and very lightweight. I curl my hair once in a while and struggled a bit since it has 2 attachments a left and right one. The round brush makes it easy to detangle and give volume to my flat hair. I will always use this dryer even on the go.

I have replaced my daily used hair tools all for this one multi function one. I love that it’s so user friendly, you can change the head so quickly, and you can twist the head to make it a more comfortable hair dryer. Really love this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shark hair dryer, the basic function of this styling system works absolutely well. It is a little noisy, less compared other brands though. The handle is super comfortable to hold on to. It has all the settings/buttons located conveniently located near the handle. Coming to the attachments, the smoothing brush is ok, does dry the hair and smooths but dies not help with frizz or anything. The round brush has combination of different bristles which increases the tension and can definitely replace any other round blow dry brush. Now coming to auto wrap functionality, definitely wraps the hair and curls with lot of volume. No complaints about curling attachments except you need to change the attachments for different directions. It's not possible to curl in and out with same attachment. This can a hassel sometimes as I like to alternate the direction of my curls. Other than that the flexstyle comes with directions, good packaging and it is definitely a good purchase.

Don’t think, just buy. I have long, fine hair but a lot of it. Using the blowout tool creates volume and it is SO soft. The curling pieces take a bit to figure out but once you do they’re amazing!!! Recommend wrapping them partway around the barrel then letting the air take over.
