I was able to take time looking for this dryer. It is such a good dryer. I love the features. The steam feature comes in handy on occasion. All of my summer clothes dry so fast on the perm press mode. I love that it also has a sensory mode to stop when the clothes are dry. It is so energy efficient. This purchase makes me so happy.

Our old matching LG dryer still worked fine, but we wanted to have a matching washer dryer set, so based on our prior excellent experience with our old LG products, which was updated by research on new laundry equipment, we decided to get the matching LG dryer. After several weeks of use, we are quite pleased with the features and performance of our dryer. We are still tinkering with several of the new features and settings, but overall we feel that our purchase was money well spent.

So it's been a year now, and they have been trouble free and do a good job. The new units have wifi with an app, which my previous machines didn't have, and it is helpful as it sends me a message when the machine is done or I can check the app to see how much time is left, saving me a needless trip to the basement to check if the laundry is done.

I'm notorious for forgetting my clothes when the cycle ends, but the LG app reminds me on my phone - and it's perfect when I'm outside or working on something else. The old dryer was the same brand and lasted a long time without any issues but I had my laundry room remodeled and I decided to replace the appliances. Small issue with the installation that created problems with drying process but once it was corrected, the dryer worked perfectly.

The drying sensor works great which makes it so easy to dry a load perfectly in the shortest amount of time. It has great features like choosing the type of clothing that’s being dried so that it can dry it to perfection. I would highly recommend this dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our new dryer for appoxiamatly a month. We replaced a Maytag Dryer. Although, we purchased this as a pair with the washer and where not dissatisfied with our Maytag, I am quite please at the ease of use and the features of this product. The various programmed dry cycles allow clothes that I previously had to remove during drying to prevent shrinkage, can now be left and entire cycle. I am particularly fond of the steamed processing cycles. I never need to iron!

All is good with the washer, for the price though I would’ve expected the readout screen to be a bit fancier than the digital watch I had in the 90s. The washer itself washes clothes well by putting soap and water on them, shaking them around a bit, and then rinsing the soap off them.

You need to turn the lights on to see what you are programing..the older model we had, had all of the lights needed to see the panel.
