I purchased this LG DLEX4000W dryer to replace an existing dryer. My expectations were that this new dryer would take several cycles to thoroughly dry a full load. Was I surprised. This dryer is clearly superior to my old dryer as all of our clothes were dry after running it just one cycle. I no longer need to use the time dry cycle and run multiple cycles. I can rely on the dryer's sensor technology to know when the clothes are dry.

We've had this dryer about 3 months. It's done a great job so far with no problems. It's very quiet and it's nice to get notifications when it's done so the clothes don't sit in the dryer for too long and get wrinkles. When this does happen it's easy to refresh using the steam option. It has a large capacity. We've been able to put several blankets and comforters inside w/o a problem.

I bought this dryer along with the matching washer a little over a month ago. Am very very happy with both units!! I had them stacked in my utility room to reclaim some room and although I need a step stool to reach the controls and remove the clothes, I LOVE these! Its perfect how the lint screen is right is front and fairly easy to remove and replace. The dryer has a light that stays on for a short while so you can be sure to remove all the clothes and the units chime when they are complete!! It was so funny, the first few times after either the washer or dryer had completed its cycle, and the unit chimed, my dogs started barking at it!!! Its pretty funny. Anyway, I would highly recommend the unit! I haven't used all the features yet only having it for a few weeks, but am very happy with the features I have used.

Keeping track of what's happening with the ThinQ app is great and works flawlessly. The only thing that has been a problem is with a small load of mostly synthetic materials some of them come out still damp at the end of a sensor cycle. 5-10 minutes done on a manual cycle usually gets those few things dry. One little bit of advice on placement - the washer door opens to the left, the dryer door to the right (but can be switched). If possible, place the dryer to the right of the washer for easy transfer of your load.

I consulted Consumer Reports when I was shopping for a new washer and dryer, and LG dominates the top of the ratings, so I felt very confident in my purchase. I appreciate the feature that uses wifi to pair the dryer settings with the washer, so all you have to do is turn on the dryer, load the laundry, and push start! I also like the large capacity size, the suite of features, including the steam features, the drum light, and the ability to stack on top of the washer. The ThinQ app is also very useful because it sends you alerts when the cycle is finished, and gives you reminders on when to run the tub clean cycle in the washer and if your vents need cleaning for the dryer. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been awhile since I had a washer and dryer so when we sold our home and moved into a new place that was one of the first appliances we got. I really love my LG washer and Dryer. I really like all the different options on it. And the self diagnosis feature is really neat and super easy to use .. I also like the chime / tune noise that they make when the load of laundry is finished. Would recommend these products for sure! They work great and have plenty of options for different wash cycles.

We got this dryer to match the washer. Nothing but great things from everything we saw and read. We got it home, have used it for a few month, and have all new connections and hookups. The only cycle the works correctly is the timed cycle. Even after following all the directions we could find and reaching out to LG support, the sensor drying leaves clothes damp, regardless of the cycle. New ducting and nothing blocking. Clean sensor. It does a pretty good job, but based on how new the dryer is we'd expect the sensor function to work a little better. I'll start out by writing that most of the 'fancy' functions on this machine are sensor functions, i.e. they sense the dryness of the clothing. We have not done anything sophisticated, but have noticed that for every load done on the dryer setting, there are three or four pieces of clothing that come out damp. We've resorted to just using the time dry feature, adjusting the temp based on the materials, with great success. Additionally, the Wifi will not connect to my LG app at all. We purchased new washing machine (WM4000HWA) at the same time which we love and does all functions wonderfully.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer does a great job washing clothes. My only concern is the WiFi. Most of the time it reports the information to my iPhone just fine. Sometimes it say it is off when I know it’s on and sometimes fail to alert me at the end of a cycle.

That's how old my previous dryer was. I like the front loading feature but looked for months for a set that would fit in my 34 1/2 inch deep by 60 1/2 inch wide space. The washer and dryer fit with room to spare. The package also included the stands which I had enough height to accommodate. The design of the back of the dryer even improved the venting from the last dryer I had. I love the options on the dryer. Especially the drum light! Super quiet and easy to use. Overall, happy, happy, happy.
