I bought this Kayak in April after looking at many others, I chose this one because it was made in America and had a warranty. I first had trouble registering the product, after many attempts was successful. Seat started fraying apart at the seams within a couple of weeks. I have submitted warranty claim, sent emails, and tried calling many times. It is July and I have not had a single person get back to me. And to make things worse that first month, I purchased two more similar LIFETIME kayaks and told friends and family to buy them. I have had 3 family members purchase similar kayaks and now I'm embarrassed to ask how theirs are holding up. Lifetime needs to get better with customer service and stand behind these products.

I love the stability of my Yukon when fishing. It also performs well when rec kayaking with my wife on lakes and lazy rivers. It is a heavy kayak, I got a rock jammed in my skeg wheel and ended up ruining the wheel. It is a very heavy yak when having to carry it. I am currently looking for replacement wheel, but have not found a site for replacement parts.

I purchased this kayak earlier this year and have really enjoyed it, the only downside is I seem to be taking on water, After about 2 hours on the water fishing I will have about a half gallon of water inside the kayak that I have to drain is this normal?

I bought one over 2 years ago amd still going good great stability standing up only problem i have had is a couple months ago my segwheel assembly came off and i lost it either on the lake or the ride home i emailed lifetime for a replacement and they are sending me one no charge so really was surprised about that so i had to give them a 5 star review

I just recently purchased this kayak, and I absolutely love it. I came from sundolphin 10ss and this kayak is one thousand percent better. I am 6'3" 220lbs and I feel absolutely comfortable in this kayak. So far I've only taken one trip for more than 8hours but that has nothing to do with the kayak. The one trip I did take for more than 8 hours I did not feel run down neither did I hurt. In fact I felt great. Now if I'm being honest, any kayak can flip, and this one is no different. But as tall and as big as I am I felt glued to the water. Was completely able to turn around in the seat and access my milk crate with all my fishing tackle. While on that subject the tank well is huge, big enough for a black pack or milk crate and another small cooler. Deck space is also amazing. In one of my trips out I even stood up, did not fish while standing up, but not the kayaks fault, that was my fault. I truly believe that you can stand and fish in this thing, with minimum effort. The dry storage area actually has stayed dry on me the entire time I've been out, and on one of my trips I got extremely muddy, long story but I learned that wet grass and flip flops do not go together. So when I got home and cleaned the kayak, I did not get any water in the dry storage area while spraying with a water hose. Be that as it may, I still put all my stuff in a stay dry bag, just for safe measures. I do not particularly like the way the dry storage is set up, and by that, I wish the dry storage had a latch system on it like the vibes, just for easier access. But it is definitely not a deal breaker, and with a DIY engineering I'm sure you could probably replace it with one. I'm not crazy about the position of the drain plug either, being on the side of the kayak, seems like if you got hit just right it would take on water, has not been an issue yet, but I would prefer it to be on top of the kayak. This kayak tracks great in the water and has pretty decent speed for a stable fishing kayak, a little slow to get started but after you are moving I had no problem keeping up with my wife in her 12 ft sit in touring kayak. We were not racing but still the speed is pretty good. I do like the idea of the skeg wheel for loading and unloading purposes, but the cut out around the wheel could be a little bigger. Kayaks are designed by nature to have a concrete boat ramp to launch, and if you pull this one across any grass or rocks it clumps in there and causes the wheel to get stuck, but nothing a cheap kayak cart can't fix. Even though this kayak is 82 lbs, its not that heavy, but it is bulky and be prepared for that when loading. If you plan on putting it on top of a car by yourself, please send me a video of how you do it. I'm in pretty decent shape and can not load it on top of my wife's car without help. I can load it into my truck absolutely no problem though. Bottom line if you are looking for an American made kayak but do not have the money, or want to buy a bonafide or Jackson kayak, you will not be dissapointed in this kayak.

I don’t think I would recommend this kayak. I have had it out 3 times now, it looks like I’ve been using it for a year with how easily the bottom scratches. I use wheels to move it to the water and everything. I take of my kayaks. But I think this thing just gets scratches from being in the water. I have never had a kayak that gets beat up just by being in water. Very soft material or something. The kayak takes on water inside, I believe from the screws where the back wheel is, I have tried to fix this but have only slowed the water coming in down. This shouldn’t even be an issue for a kayak but it is. anyway I have had to place gorilla tape around the places that have been gouged from just being in the water(have not ran across anything or hit anything), this is to try and protect it from its poor quality. I also had to tighten every screw on this thing. Nothing was tight and everything was loose. I say to look around and find a better quality kayak.

I bought these about 2 months ago, and have now had a chance to try them out a couple times. I spend 6hrs the water and they were very very comfortable. The size is great, they track well, very durable. I love the wheel in the back, makes it easy to get to the water. The stability is great but a 6ft 2in tall 228lb individual is not gonna be very stable in any Yak standing up. It was easy to stand up, but i would not fish that way for very long. I built a trailer for mine, they are 2 hard to load on top of my jeep. All in all they are AMAZING. I would buy them again. The customer service is absolutely the best in business. They went above and beyond, keeping me up to date with shipping and delivery times. Very very helpful and they support out troops!

I just purchased my Yukon 116 two days ago after using a competitors kayak for a 4 mile float. After the float I purchased my Yukon and used on a 10 mile fishing float the very next day and a 5 mile float today. The Yukon drains well, tracks well and fishes extremely well. I was able to catch many more fish due to the comfort and not fighting the Yukon due to tracking! My Yukon is much more stable and does well in rough fast areas of water. I bought the Lifetime Yukon Angler Friday August 27, 2021, from Scott at Blain's Farm & Fleet in Traverse City. Go see Scott if you have any questions. This is the 7th Kayak in my fleet of boats. I was fishing out of a Sundolphin Excursion 12SS for 5 years. I had to make several Mods because my legs and feet were falling asleep, so I started looking. I had 3 Lifetime and 3 Sundolphin kayaks all good kayaks. I bought the Yukon and went on a 3 1/2 hour maiden float. It was so comfortable that I went and did it again the next day. Now to get her ready for fishing. Looking for modifications and what I want to do. This Kayak is very stable, comfortable, and tracks well. It is a little heavy and hard to lift but worth the effort. For you skinny guys, I am 5'9" and weigh 250 lbs and I was comfortable and secure.

After canoeing 1000's of miles I finally reached the other side and got a yak. #1 purchase point made in USA. Great seat, very stable, flows great in the water, looks awesome, and I cannot stop bragging about my new kayak. I did by the portable wheel system, this is a big boat and after dragging it back and forth to the landing a couple of days it was time to upgrade. Highly recommend this yak!
