I love the smell of the original tide the best! It makes my clothes smell so good and clean! I try to stock up as much as i can when i am shopping!

Tide HE Turbo NOT original scent

I was so disappointed when my husband brought home the HE turbo original and it smelled NOTHING like the true original scent :( Come on tide!!

We're sorry you dislike the newer Tide Original scent, Bnmorgan. We're always working to improve our detergents and this newer fragrance came out on top when tested with consumers. However, if you prefer a milder scent, you may want to try Tide Mountain Spring which has a fragrance closer to that of the old Tide Original fragrance. Cleans clothes well. Easy to use and mixes well and dissolves all the way. Colors stay bright and clothes have a nice scent for some time.

The new smell is awful

My whole family has used Tide for forever. The new smell is so strong we have all stopped using it. Please go back to the way it was.

Cold water does get out stains

original scent changed?

Tide original pods now have a an overpowering smell that lingers and lingers. Please dont fix what is not broken.

We appreciate your honest feedback, Paul. We've updated the scent of Tide Original Liquid Laundry detergent to provide a better freshness experience particularly on dry fabrics. The Change will be going from a light, clean, herbal/green scent to a slightly warmer, rich, scent with a bit more woody notes. Today people can choose from many variants of Tide scents. Based on preferences you have described in your letter, we would encourage you to try Tide Mountain Spring which we hope will match your scent expectations.
