New scent is the worst!

Absolutely hate hate hate the new scent of “original” Tide. Overpowering and just plain terrible. What a shame! Currently looking for a new detergent...

Cleans great in cold water

Super powerful

Keeps my clothes smelling and feeling good

I use this in my HE washer and i love the way my clothes come out. They are soft compared to another detergent and the smell good. Most of all, they stay in great shape wash after wash.

bad product

At first, I thought I put too much soap on the washer and run it a few times to get the scent out. It is a horrible scent!. I bought another one thinking I got a bad one.

Formula change has made a bad smell

I have been using Tide for over 20 years. The last bottle I bought made the clothes smell so bad, it took 3 washes with another product to get the smell out. I won't buy this again. What a shame.

We're sorry to hear that you had this experience! Laundry detergent cannot cause bad smells. If a fresh load of laundry comes out smelling badly, it is coming from the washing machine. When a washing machine starts to smell, use Tide Washing Machine Cleaner to remove residue and eliminate any bacteria; monthly clean-outs with Tide Washing Machine Cleaner, helps keep odor-causing residues from causing odor problems down the road. Be sure to consult the owner's manual or the manufacturer's website for clean-out instructions. Surprise! A new unmarked original scent!

Seriously Overpowering odor and coats the skin when transferred to the dryer! This new formula is a floral punch in the face, and I use way less than recommended. Switching brands ASAP!

Just returned a new bottle of Tide with the new “original” scent. absolutely HATE HATE HATE it! So overpowering and terrible. Such a shame! Currently looking for a new brand of detergent...

Awful Smell!

The new scent is overpowering! I do not like it! We are sensitive to strong fragrances and the new smell just ruins the detergent for me. I have to rewash my clothes with something else!
