Original/Mountain Spring NOT the same!

The new scent of the Original is awful. After calling Tide to ask if there was an alternative, they said MOUNTAIN SPRING is the same fragrance as the old ORIGINAL. MOUNTAIN SPRING is NOT!!

reply from The Tide Team

We did move our old Original scent over to our Mountain Spring, so you should still be able to get the great freshness that you love! We'd like to take a look into the bottle of Mountain Spring that you purchased so we can see what might be going on, please give us a call at (800) 879-8433.

Tide Laundry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this detergent! It left my clothes clean even using cold water, and smelling so fresh! I used this on my husbands work clothes and it worked great.

New scent awful

I’ve been using Tide original for over 20 years. I just opened a new container of pods and thought someone spilled perfume in the first load I did. It was an awful smell. I will stop using this.

We truly appreciate your loyalty, Karina, and while we're sorry to hear that you're not the biggest fan of our freshness update, we really do appreciate your honest feedback. We're letting the rest of our team know that you'd like to see some changes made, but in the meanwhile we've got great news! Our old Original scent just underwent a name change, and you can find it on shelves as Mountain Spring! We'd be happy to have you try some, just give us a ring at (800) 879-8433.

good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is a pretty solid product. the detergent smells good and isn't too overpowering, it cleans things and leaves no residue or harm to the clothes, pretty easy

Gotta Be Clean!! And it was!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great but tide always is, it cleaned my clothes perfectly and left them smelling so good even without fabric softener

New scent is horrible!

A change to the original scent with no packaging change to indicate the change? Some might call that bait-n-switch. After using Tide for over 20 years you just made us switch to a different brand.

Horrible New smell

I have used tide original scent for at least 8 years, but after today I'm going to start using a different detergent. The new smell for tide original scent liquid detergent is just awful.
