I just did a wash with a new bottle of Tide and found it had a new scent. The new scent is overpowering and smells like chemicals. The awful scent still clings to my clothes days later, even after running them through the dryer - I will have to buy a different brand of detergent and rewash those clothes. Note: the new scent is so strong that I cannot wear my clothes to choir practice where we are prohibited from wearing strong perfumes or colognes as they are offensive to some singers. I never had any issues with the old Tide scent. Please bring back the old scent. Until then I will use another brand.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. A year or so back I emailed with my disappointment on the new size of your dispenser bottle as it no longer fit in the cabinet above my washer. I had to refill another brand of detergents bottle with my Tide which was inconvient. Today as I walked down the aisle I saw the bottle seemed shorter so I bought one and IT FITS AGAIN.. This saves me from refilling bottles Thank you I appreciate less work even though I would not stop using Tide it has become more convient again.

Grew up with Tide, served in the Air Force with Tide, moved across the country and Tide was always a scent that felt like home. It was a clean not overpowering fragrance that has been like a comfort I and then we relied on, but no more. Tide has changed, it’s not right. The first one I got home, I smelled it and returned it because I thought it was bad, then I just thought I was going nuts, now I see from other reviews it’s just changed. What a bummer, no longer with I be buying Tide.

It does a great job at getting the clothes cleaned and also leaves a nice fresh scent. From red wine to grass stains todd liquid detergent gets them all out. I highly recommend Tide to anybody out there looking for a great laundry detergent.

This detergent didn't cause the colors of my clothes to fade and kept my whites their whitest. I used this on both the sanitary and quick wash speeds and it performed equally well on both getting my back others clean and leaving a fresh scent behind. Tides price point is a smidgen high but the product quality is what you have come to expect from Tide.

OMG, the new scent is driving me crazy!!! I've spent all day at work wondering what the heck this horrible smell is only to realize it's my pants!!! I did not wash my own laundry this time and was in a rush to get ready for work so I didn't notice when I put them on. After going online and discovering that several people are not happy about this change, I'd like to add my name to the list of people who will not be buying your product until you change it back!!!

I used the required amount in my front load washer on a cold cycle, washing bath towels, and they came out smelling so fresh and clean. I also used it washing a load of my jeans, and same thing, super happy with the results. Seems you can wash any kind of clothing with this product. I like alot of scent and this smelled great.

I recently bought the original scent after my daughter said she used Tide pods and her clothes smelled nice. I used Tide original many years ago and remember it had a pleasant scent. Well, this smells like wet towels left in a pile for days. I even used a cleaning tablet in my almost new top loader but when I used Tide, the smell came back. It’s not moisture, it’s this “original” scent. Why?

I used the Tide Original liquid detergent for a more efficient wash. My kids has sensitivity to most laundry detergent they seem to react well with tide. While using tide i notice our clothes getting clean and removing basic dirt and stains But not so much for the deeper ones , Overall it gets the job done and I like how my clothes looked in the end.The detergent is easy to pour and it doesn't spill when you put the lid back on. The product has a pleasant smell, but not overpowering. This detergent is good quality and gets clothes clean. For your basic day to day wash i would definitely recommend.
