Yes, it works well for high-efficiency washing machines like my front loader, as well as top loader machines! Yes, it can be used to pre-treat stains before you throw extra dirty clothes in the wash so you don't have to waste money on those extra products! This detergent removes stains better than the bargain brands.

I had a few stains on my top I was wearing while cooking so I put Tide on it for a stain remover IT WORKED AWESOME! I have not bought tide in years however I think I will be buying Tide frequently. First of all, Tide detergent was so easy to use, the lid opened up easily to put the right amount of product, with just a small amount the product made foam and cleaned up pretty well my white napkin leaving it with a nice scent of freshness. I really like it and using cold water was just perfectly fine. I recommend this product and I will continue using it from now on

I love the ease of the pods and the scent is subtle, not overpowering. The price is very reasonable for the way it cleans your clothes. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

I really like the concentration of this detergent, and the fresh smell my clothes are left with. Clothes that are washed in white, are better cleaned with tides cold compatible formula. I feel that a bottle of tide goes a lot further than others I’ve used previously!
