I got hooked on Tide Original a few years ago when I received a sample to test. I fell in love with it. It was the best laundry detergent I ever used and believe me – I tried many. With Tide Original, my clothes were finally clean. I also liked the delicate scent. I bought it twice more – small bottles 25 loads each. One was “regular” and one was “he”. They still worked perfectly. This time I “went big” and bought 92 fl oz for 64 loads. It has “he” on the front and also in yellow letters on the back: “Concentrated formula vs. formula as of 03/01/20”. Oh my - I hate it so much! It did not wash my clothes. I tried washing twice with increasing concentration of the detergent and the yellow sweat stains were still prominent. The previous Tide Original dealt with them at the first go in the same washing machine, on the same wash program. Also the smell is just overbearing. The previous Tide Original did not leave strong smell on clothes. It was just a faint, pleasant whiff. This laundry detergent leaves such a strong smell that it is just nauseating. It is a perfume-like smell, but it is just so strong I cannot even keep my clothes in the bedroom because I cannot sleep. And to make it even worse, the smell of sweat is still hidden under this strong perfume, which makes even more nauseating mixture. So what now? I abhor this laundry detergent and I want my money back. Or a replacement with a product with the previous formula. And I swear, I will never buy Tide again! Unless it brings back the old formula from before 03/01/20!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide has to be the best smelling laundry detergent there is when it says turbo clean that's just what it is and that's exactly what it does it's been a little bit over 3weeks since I washed clothes and still to this day my clothes still are smelling so fresh and clean as if I just washed them today. Pro is I wish everyone would use it. And only foe is I wish I had more lol. It still has the neat little measure cup. That helps when you might just need a small amount for a small load. I have told all my friends they have to go get a bottle of Tide with that turbo clean fresh and clean sent

It also got all of my daughters clothes cleaned from her playing in the dirt at school. I even washed her shoes in the washing machine with this detergent and they came clean!

I recently wrote a review about the change in the scent of Tide liquid HE with bleach. You kindly replied that I should try the free and clear tide. I wanted to let you know that my mother who lives in another state just told me she used a new bottle of Tide HE with Acti Lift and she disliked the smell so much that she actually threw out the clothes she washed! There definitely is a change in the scent of Tide with Acti Lift. It is very strong and bitter. I have changed to using Tide powder and love the fresh delicate scent of the original formula. Please do not put Acti Lift in the powder. I do not want that scent to change as well or I will have to switch to another brand all together. I see that other reviewers have noticed the change in the scent as well. Even though you may not have changed the formula of the scent, adding the Acti Lift has an effect on it. I know the Acti Lift is meant to get out dried stains but I can use a pretreater for that. I would rather have nice smelling laundry and take the extra step to use a pretreater if necessary. Again, please leave the Tide powder just the way it is. I love the way it smells and how well it cleans my laundry. Thank you for letting the consumers voice their opinion on your products.

I love Tide Original Detergent and it's the only one I use for my cold water washing. It works perfect. My clothes always smell fresh and clean. It leaves my clothes looking new and sharp. And it doesn't take a lot for each load. The cap has a great measure mark for convenience

They have a great selection of scents which all smell amazing and keep my clothes looking as good as new. Tide is the only brand that I will ever purchase. I’ve tried several other brands in the past and none of them have ever Kept my clothes looking as great as tide does. Another reason I love Tide is because the scents stays on for several weeks after washing. I can take a comforter out of the closet that I washed several weeks ago and it still smells as good as the day I washed it. I‘ve had my front loader washer and dryer for over 13 years now and I’ve never had a problem while using Tide.

I feel like I was able to use less because it was so powerful. This was a great detergent with power big enough to take the scent of dogs out of my clothes and blankets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First load of laundry I did using Tide OLD(Original Liquid Detergent)was dark clothes and I used cold water, I would normally wash it in warm water, I was very pleased with the results, previously I washed a couple of shirts and pants and the stains did not come out, so I put them in with this load and when I took the load out of the washer and checked the shirts and pants and couldn't find any of the stains. I also became aware of how great my clothes smelled, fresh and clean. I'm happy to have tried Tide because I don't want to spend money on a brand named product without knowing if it worked the way as advertised and now that I know how well Tide works on my clothes I am More apt to use Tide over the lesser brands. If I had to pay for hot water, it's great to know I could save quite a lot on hot water prices being able to use cold water!

I also appreciate its stain removing power using cold water which helps keep my clothes from fading! 5 stars & will definitely be using this from now on!
