I was so disappointed when I bought a bottle of "original" Tide and realized the smell had been changed! I've always loved how well Tide cleaned my clothes and the smell was even better. I no longer buy it due to the new scent. Please consider changing it back. If you want to create another new scent, you can call it something else.

We thought we could go back to using the liquid detergents but we really like the fragrance and ease of use of the Pods. Would still recommend Tide brand to anyone wanting to keep their clothes in tip top condition

I was a loyal Tide user until Acti lift was added to the product several years ago. That is when the scent first changed for the worse. It has never been the same since. It also does not clean as well, especially on whites. I switched to another brand not made by P&G but every so often try Tide again. I am very disappointed. You say you base your changes on consumer research. The consumer response based on these reviews should tell you something. No one seems to like any of Tides scents now. Please go back to the old, old original scent.

Was very pleased. Whites looked bright and darks did not fade. found the scent to be pleasant and mild not overpowering

What’s going on with Tide?! Been using for 15 years, always trusted Original Tide for clean clothes and fresh scent. This one is different, after reading reviews they changed the “Original” scent and now the original is Mountain Spring?? How does that make sense?? The reviews for the original Tide have plummeted to 3.5 star rating merely bc they changed the scent, please fix this problem Tide. Love your products but I want to know Im using the Original that was in fact the Original, not “Mountain Spring” and yes scent is subjective and a personal preference but changing the original and still calling it original is not a welcome change. Will be looking at other detergent brands until the Original Tide is back. Please consider going back to original scent Tide, thank you!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this. My clothing smelled clean and they looked clean. This tide took out stains without pretreating. My whites look great. I love that i am saving money by washing in cold water.

Tide is always a good brand to use. A little goes a long way and the clothes are always clean and smell fresh after. The only complaint is that for the price I think you can find comparable detergents for cheaper. Tide can be pricy at times so sometimes I reach for something different

The whole 100 oz will last us weeks if not months and is a lifesaver with smelly baseball uniforms. Excited for more scents and family to stay over so I can wash their clothes too.
