The smell is not harsh or overly powerful yet at the same time it provides a clean fresh smell that last all the way until it’s time to wash it again. No, seriously it’s great and works wonders on my families clothes.

We exclusively use this brand, and our clothes have consistently been safe from fading and have remained as soft as the day they were purchased. We are Tide for life!

I think it is the best laundry detergent I've ever used. I have a teenage boy, and I'm a nurse, so I need a laundry detergent that is tough at getting stains out and leaving our clothes looking and smelling clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide's concentrated formula gets my laundry cleaner and smells fantastic! A small amount goes a long way and leaves my clothes smelling fresh for days. There is never any residue left behind. Definitely my favorite detergent.

I have used Tide Original for years. I love that I can get nearly all stains out using it. It is the only detergent I will use. Due to asthma and strong fragrances causing breathing problems for me I have been happy that Original Tide was a detergent that wasn't to strong and I could have a I scent without having breathing issues. I just opened a new jug of Tide Original and put a load of clothes in the wash. I can't walk into my laundry room now because the scent is overwhelming. No where on the new container does it say anything about a scent change. I am very unhappy that I now have TWO 170 ounce jugs of detergent I will not be able to use with no warning of the change and a room I can not walk in to for several hours as I wait for the scent to dissipate with a window open in the middle of winter.

We love how Tide cleans well and addresses stains. And I don't have to use much product in my HE washer, saving me money.

We thought we could go back to using the liquid detergents but we really like the fragrance and ease of use of the Pods. Would still recommend Tide brand to anyone wanting to keep their clothes in tip top condition

I have used Tide for years and recently bought a new Energy Efficient machine. I absolutely love the new Tide HE liquid. It takes such a small amount of detergent and my clothes are so clean. I have never been happier with Tide, or any other product for that matter.. I highly recommend Tide HE Liquid for the new Energy Efficient machine.

My 13 yr.old son decided to help and grabbed our laundry from the dryer and made the comment, " I am in Love with the smell of this laundry!" To hear this statement made by a teen says a whole lot!
