This is the second Panasonic multiple handset phone system we have owned. The first set lasted almost 15 years and it still worked but not as good as it used to. This new version has Bluetooth link to your cell phone which is a great feature, especially for those of us who work from home! We have a two story house so this 3 handset system allows us to have one on each level. It came nicely boxed with a wall hanger if you wanted to hang it. We just have them on counters and a dresser. It has talking caller ID so When a call comes in it talks and tells you who is calling. There is a blinking red light to alert you when there is a voice message that’s been left and also the number of messages. 
It’s a nice, good quality set for those who still want a land line.
