I love the “chopper” style knives and these were affordable, so I gave them a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how sharp these knives were. I cut myself a couple of times not while cutting, but when I move around the knives after cutting! Be very careful with these.

I never knew I needed cleavers, but I have been using them instead of my knives for all my food chopping tasks. These cleavers are comfortable to hold, very sharp and make chopping go much faster. The littlest one is great for cutting slices off blocks of cheese. I highly recommend this set.

I purchased the Cuisinart Classic 6 pc cleavers set based on the reviews of others, and they are great so far. The blades are very sharp, and they are worth the price. You get 3 cleavers and 3 blade guards. The blade guards fall off pretty easily, but I keep these in the original box, so not a big issue. I have not used the 7" cleaver yet, but I used the 7" nakiri to cut raw potatoes, and the 4.5" mini cleaver for cutting pizza and French bread pizza. It cuts much better than my pizza cutter. I wash and dry these by hand.

I was afraid these might be a little subpar. Most of my cutlery is high end. I am very impressed with these cleavers as they are very sharp. I have used each one and they are holding an edge nicely. I recommend these for oneself or as a gift.

I absolutely LOVE these cleavers! My daughter, who knows how I feel about dull knives, bought me a set for Mothers' Day. These things are marvelous! So much so that this purchase was a birthday gift for one of my sons. He, too, is a happy camper.

Super sharp and very comfortable to use. These cleavers all work great and have a handle that fits your hand and is super comfortable to hold and use. I love the these to chop smoked meat or break down veggies. The mini one actually works great on blocks of cheese. Having the cleaver shape also lets you use them like a scoop after chopping to add your veggies to a bowl or pot easily.

These are excellent value, but please in that excellence be careful and treat them with respect

Amazing knives. Especially for the price. Only complaint would be against the guards. The guards fit loose, are not wide enough and fall off.

These knives are really great except that the protection covers will not stay in place. That's the reason I removed one star. Normally the covers wouldn't be that important but considering that these knives are extremely sharp I consider the safety of the protective covers of utmost importantance.

These are very nice, sharp and the handles are comfortable - BUT are very slippery. I will probably wrap the handles with tape so they are easier to hold on to.
