The unique features of this product, which are potential failure points, does NOT justify the price.  Other quality gas cans may be purchased for less than half the cost. That said 
the can has passed the 30 leak test.

Too expensive

I actually had to cut a small piece off of the stub that keeps the lid from opening. (Turning)
I tried to unscrew it at the Sam's gas station. Several others tried as well.
Outside of that, it does hold gas.
