It does NOT smear the dust around like I thought it might, it actually picks it up and locks it in. And the handle helps out so much for the tricky spots around our tv's and lamps. It's perfect. I've even used it on our hardwood floors, as the dust can get into the corners by the cabinets and it picks the little dust bunnies right up. I'd highly recommend this to anyone that has to dust quite a bit.

I had put this on the extender and learned later that I need to fluff up the dust element and if the duster fell off the wand it was hard to slide it back on to the wand. Well, I used this on the ceiling fans, mirrors on the wall, top of picture frames and other hard to reach places. When I used it on the ceiling fans as I wiped the fan there were no particles falling from the ceiling onto my head. The duster was so dingy. Dusting with this didnt make a bigger clean up mess after the wipe down of the fans. This is something I would buy for those hard to reach places.

BAM! Then arrives the Swifter Dusters Starter Kit. I knew what I had to do! A quick attack of the hard to reach ceiling corners was super simple and pain free with this Duster! Next was the dreaded ceiling fan. I placed a towel on the floor below but was pleasantly surprised that the Swifter Duster picked up nearly all of the dirt/dust hanging onto the fan. I have to say the Swifter Duster Starter Kit was fantastic for quick, easy clean up. It would be a great house warming gift or dorm room present. It stores nicely and doesn't require much space. Now if it could stop mother nature from creating dust in the first place! This product gets my vote! I'd purchase it on my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So we all remember when Swiffer first came out, it was kind of like "Oh wow a disposable mop!" I know for me it kind of fell flat. My parquet floors were brutal on the pad and I never got into it. Well, the new duster line is awesome. I was pleasantly surprised with the extendable handle, I am tall but I have been able to get my kids in on the cleaning action. The duster fluff thingy holds so much dust, it is amazing and gross at the same time to see all of it. My 8 year old looks at it and says "So thats why I keep sneezing!". The price point is affordable, and the duster lasts a good long time. I definitely enjoy my Duster!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Swiffer duster has all the features you would want in a duster, it has a telescoping handle, the head pivot 360 degrees to make dusting at different angles easier, and the heads are disposable so when you're done dusting, you just toss the head and don't have to store a dirty duster. It's very effective at trapping and removing dust, and doesn't just push the dust around. I got it free through Bzzagent. I didn't realize how neglected some of my fixtures were, dust wise, until I used my Swiffer Duster on them. The amount of dust it removed was incredible. After using the Swiffer Duster, you'll say goodbye to other less efficient dusters.

The Swiffer Duster with extendable arm is amazing at picking up all that dust from the surfaces up high that I cannot see or reach. It is seriously crazy how the duster grabs onto the dust and does not just move it around. I can be certain that when I dust the curtain rods and ceiling fans now that I have gotten all the dust. My fur babies are free to create more of a mess now.

I will never be able to go back to using a traditional feather duster. I actually enjoy dusting when this used to be my most disliked chore. I can actually stand on the floor and dust hard to reach places without having to stand on a chair or step stool because the Swiffer duster extends. My husband made a comment the other day about how clean our house looks and I was shocked hearing that from him because he usually doesn't notice.
