I still had to stand a chair to reach it, but this experience made me realize that I need to clean it more regularly. I could not believe the amount of dust that was on the ceiling fan. I can see the top of my ceiling fan from my stairs as my house is a split-level where the stairs overlook a portion of my first floor. Swiffer Dusters was effective, and it was so nice to be able to throw out the dirty duster, getting it out of my house rather than moving a feather duster around….spreading dust and potential germs in my house. No thank you to that. No more regular sneezing due to dust that I cannot see! It was convenient and I loved it.

I use it around the house of course for regular dusting (which I don't do any other way), but I ALSO keep one of the short handled ones in my car for dusting the dashboard and the control panel. The dust here in Phoenix is sticky and it makes me crazy. I even told my DAD about keeping one in the car and he was very interested? Swiffer makes my life easier in so many ways! Swiffer products are so convenient and they're perfect for my busy life.

I am short and usually have to use a step stool to dust my ceiling fans or objects that are tall but using the extendable handle, I do not have to. I can reach all the way to my ceiling using the extendable handle. I was able to dust each of my ceiling fans without having to use a step stool. I hate dusting my ceiling fans because most of the dust seems to just fall on my head or float around after I clean my fans. The Swiffers catch almost all of the dust rather than just stirring it up in the air. I was very impressed with the usage I got out of just one Swiffer Duster. My kit came with (2) refills as well! I highly recommend the Swiffer Duster Starter Kit and I promise you will love the extendable handle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where do I start...the Swiffer Duster is amazing and such a time saver. When I first received it, I opened the package and was pleasantly surprised there were two extra duster refills in the package. The flexibility of the handle is what grabbed my attention first, as I always have a difficult time dusting ceiling fans. (see attached photo) I thought the best place to try out the new duster was in my son's room. To get him to clean his room, not alone dust, is an up hill battle. I asked him to please clean his room and gave him the duster to try, hoping it would be easier then cloths and polish, and would attract the dust just as well. His first reaction (besides do I have to clean my room) was, " wow mom, this duster is light, and I don't have to move anything as it glides right around all the things on my dresser." Not the first thing I wanted to hear, as you are suppose to pick things up when you dust, but if I could look at his dressers and bookshelves and see no dust at first glance, I was sold. In about 15 minutes, my son was done and happy as could be, as he thought it was easy, didn't take him near as much time to do, and he could reach everywhere in his room without having to get his chair out to stand on. There was quite a bit of dust on the duster after my son used it in his room, but I decided to take it upstairs and hit the wood table, chairs, and stainless steel refrigerator in the kitchen that always show a lot of dust in the Winter months when the sun comes through the kitchen window. I was impressed that even with all that dust from my son's room, the Swiffer duster was still able to effectively pick up dust and hair with minimal particles floating in the air. I then moved the handle to a 45 degree angle, hit all the ceiling fans in the house and the tops of the bedroom doors down the hall. The Swiffer duster is quick, easy, and able to reach even the most difficult places in the house, and I would often avoid the hard to reach places do to the time involved in getting out chairs, etc to reach them. I am hooked, and honestly can say I will not be going back to the polish and rag.

That great handle that extends as well as being able to adjust the duster, I couldn't wait to try it! Usually when I dust off our track lights I have to move the couch, pull over a chair and get dusting...not with the Swiffer Duster! Didn't have to move a thing or stand on anything! Quick and easy! Loved it!

Up until this point it has been so difficult to reach high corners and tight spaces to dust. Now with the New Swiffer Dusters Starter Kit we can reach all of those spaces with ease. My husband actually wants to dust more, because he has a handy new toy to do it with! I like how the dust mop "attracts" the dust and traps it there. Even when I shake the Swiffer Duster the dust stays in place and doesn't fall off of the mop head. The rotating head is great too, because we can maneuver it to whatever direction we need. I love this product and it will stay a cleaning staple in my house for a long time coming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided I wanted to rearrange my bedroom and the Swiffer Duster was delivered the day before so it was perfect timing to try this. I can't reach my ceiling fan without standing on my bed and with being as short as I am that is still dangerous. My husband, who is much taller than I, always gets stuck having to dust the ceiling fans and he hates it. This tool made it possible for me to dust the fans on my own while still standing on the floor. I love this product. It was easy to use and dusted well. The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is because it was a tad more flimsy than I thought it would be.

These dusters are great for reaching the ceiling fans by using the extendable handle. Also you can just throw away the duster part when it gets dirty and place a fresh new duster on the reusable handle. I also liked that the dusters seem to keep the dust on them instead of just pushing and spreading it around like some of my previous dusting methods.
