I decided to give the swiffer to my mom as my apartment we don't use our ceiling fan that much. We have 5 pets at home, so there is always dander and dust collecting. My mom loved the product. She really liked the adjustable handle, she was excited that she didn't have to stand on a chair to clean. She was able to clean all the ceiling fans in a matter of minutes and made doing chores much easier. The refills were a nice touch, and will allow us to use it more frequently without worrying about running to the store to get refills.

The Swiffer duster is amazing. It has an extendable handle, which is great for tall jobs. The duster part itself can also be angled so it's like using an extension of your own hand. I can teach all the corners and ceilings in my house with no stretching. The duster is disposable and just slides on in seconds. This is without a doubt my favorite cleaning tool!

The design of the Swiffer Dusters is such that it allows you to get into all the nooks and cranny's easily. Most feather duster are bulky and don't reach those corners and slim opening. Not to mention that I find that the standard feather duster doesn't pick up and capture the dust as well, it seems to push the dust around instead. With the Swiffer Dusters one swipe and the dust sticks right on the specially designed material. The handle is also adjustable so you can angle it to get into hard to reach corners and easily wipe down your ceiling fan easily.

Swiffer Dusters Extender Starter Kit is definitely one of my favorite cleaning tools in cleaning high corners, cabinets, ceiling. It is lightweight and easy to pick up dust. I like to use this tool to clean blinds and window shutters. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying I am a fan of Swiffer products and I have found the Wet Jet to be a lifesaver, however; I was given the opportunity to try to Swiffer Duster with the extended handle ( its available in store with two lengths ) and while I think it would be good for very light dusting on table tops or wall hangings I didn't find this great for my ceiling fans and I felt like it pushed the dust off the blades and other surfaces onto myself and the floor rather than getting captured in the dusting pad. I have dogs and I live in Arizona where dust tends to drift daily and I feel the dusting pads require some "fluffing" to work properly. I can see this being good for general upkeep but not for a surface that collects a lot of dust or that is dusted infrequently. I would rather vacuum or use a spray product and cloth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Through BuzzAgent I recently got to try the Swiffer Dusters Starter Kit for free for my honest feedback. I currently own and regularly use a Swiffer WetJet so I was excited to try a different product from the Swiffer line. In the BuzzKit I received one removable/disposable dust pad and a reusable handle that extends. The ease of using this product surprised me because it was ready to go/use right out of the package. There was no need for assembly or to even read the provided instructions. It's a very simple, but effective device. You dust, throw out the old pad, and replace it with another one. Having two dogs, one having long white fur, dark furniture, and hard wood floors is a mixture for constant accumulation/circulation of dust and having to dust. Before my initial use I extended the handle fully by pressing down on the buttons and gently pulling to see how much "extension" I could get. It turned out to be around 3 feet. Playing around with the button at the top of the handle I was able to adjust/rotate the duster in 5 different positions. I was able, with the handle fully extended, to reach my ceiling fans. I'll mention here that I'm 4'9". I also removed the disposable dusting pad to see what was holding the pad in place. What I saw was two smaller flexible plastic handles. This made me happy; you mean I can finally get into to those super tight and weird shaped areas without breaking the duster? The answer to that question is yes. Using the Swiffer Duster was an enjoyable experience compared to what I was doing before. One simple and gentle pass over your entire surface is all you need to rid the area of dust. The amount of dust one single pad can hold is quite amazing. I was able to dust my entire home (counter top surfaces, furniture, baseboards, blinds, ceiling fans, ceiling corners, TV's, video game consoles) without worrying about having to change the pad. The Swiffer Duster exceeded my expectations when I didn't see dust flying everywhere onto either the floor/other surfaces or on me while dusting. What I'm trying to say is that the pad really holds onto the dust, and well. So fear not, you can dust your ceiling fans without worrying about dust bunnies raining down on you. I had a good experience with the Swiffer Dusters Starter Kit and will recommend that this product be purchased for anyone who cleans their own homes as it makes cleaning easier as well as for those who have to constantly dust and have a dust free environment due to allergies. I look forward to reusing this product and am excited to use the disposable pads with Gain scent I just purchased.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. These work great! I love using them for the top of fan blades. They work great on window sills and blinds. It makes cleaning faster than using wipes or rags. They are very convenient and super easy to use. It's also nice being able to go in between items like glass or pictures in mantels or cubby holes. They work great to collect all kinds of dust bunnies and you can get a lot done with just one duster. Great product overall!

Well, not really, I never had a housekeeper but if I did, she probably would have quit due to the dust on my blinds and ceiling fans that has accumulated over the last year. Cue the Swiffer duster.... I've used the swiffer sweepers for years and LOVE them. Not only do I sweep with them, but they're excellent for cleaning baseboards. I wasn't so sure about the duster...seemed like a gimmick to sell a product to clean areas that can be easily cleaned with a dust-rag. But, heck..I thought I'd give the duster a try...since my house-cleaner quit and all. ; ) The duster made cleaning ceiling fans much easier because of the long, flexible handle. It handled blinds as well, making it easier and more time efficient. I would recommend these products to anyone who would like to save time dusting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the swiffer duster for fans! I love the handle and how easy it makes it to dust my fans. I never dust them to be honest but once I got this starter kit I couldn't believe how much accumulated up there! Though I would not buy the refills I still think is an ok product. The reason why I gave it 3 stars was because its not something I would buy often. And the dusters do collect dust particles well but not well enough as I would see dust falling off the fan blades that the duster could not catch. If your the kind of person who cleans fan blades often then this would be the perfect product especially with its extended handle that you can maneuver in different ways.
