[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Swiffer Duster worked fairly well for what I wanted...I used it to dust my hard to reach ceiling fan! The extended wand was helpful to get up high and it really took away all of the dust! I love the fact that it entrapped the dust in itself and none landed on me!

It's "arm" folds up so you can store it compactly and easily, but when you extend the arm, it makes it really easy to reach those hard to reach places. The dusters are easily to replace, but you get a lot of use out of them before needing to replace them. For someone short like me, this is a perfect tool for quick cleaning without having to climb on chairs to reach things!

I was very satisfied with the Swiffer Dusters and here are the reasons why I would recommend them. It seems obvious that they would be great to use for those hard to reach high places like ceiling fans on air vents. However, I found them great to use for those hard to reach lower areas. I dont like crawling on the ground trying to dust under my couch and bed, but now I can just extend my Swiffer Duster and grab all those dust bunnies. I was impressed how well it grabbed and held onto the dust, so definitely made the chore a breeze! I would highly recommend these and will be buying them as soon as i run out of my starter kit!

The easy to use refills makes sure you are getting the area clean without just shifting the dust around. My kids and I have pretty bad allergies so this is very important. The bendable handle makes its super easy to reach areas up high. It is so easy that my kids can help also.

I am glad to have tried this because it actually went faster and gave me more determination to dust in harder to reach areas and I know that made my home healthier. The handle was easy to use, extend and retract. The dusting replacements were easy to apply and remove and there was no mess when removing them, which was great for my allergy sensitive family!! You'll need a tiny bit of cabinet space to store it, maybe as much as a loaf of bread if you include the box of dusters. A child and teen can easily use this and a kid finds it really fun where a teen finds it fast and effective!

Using a feather duster just moved the dust to the air and messed with my allergies. The Swiffer duster traps the dust, it's easy to use and it extended to reach those areas where I'm too short to without needing a chair! Cleaned my ceiling fan, book shelves, and general areas with complete ease, took less time and I didn't have to go back over it. I told my mom she had to try it, now she loves it too. If you couldn't already tell, I'm a fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After purchasing our home we have been moving from one remodeling project to the next, which causes the house to accumulate even more dust in addition to the "normal" amount of dust produced by a family of 4 plus a dog. With Swiffer dusters it was easy and effortless to quickly go through the house and get it dust free! The dirt really stuck to the duster and I was able use the same duster multiple times (about 5) before replacing it. The expandable handle is a great feature since I am pretty short and it easily reaches up high. It also easily fits into the nooks and crannies of the house with the slim design. The pivoting head allowed me to reach the dust at any angel also! It was so easy to add the Swiffer duster to my regular cleaning routine I won't be using any other method!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly absolutely hate dusting. Every time I dust I see more particles flying around the room then ending up on the duster. I tried the Swiffer Dusters kit earlier this month and I was really impressed. This thing literally made the dust stick to it. There were very minimal particles in the air after I did an area. I actually could see the dust accumulating on the duster pad and it mounted up quite quickly. I was able to do my entire 1800 square foot house with one duster. I really like the handle, it compactly folds up to maybe 20 inches or so, or you can extend it out two separate times making it quite long. There is a part on the end that allows you to lock the duster in at different angles, this is definitely my favorite feature. I can get on top of the fans blades no problem without a stool. I can also bend it so I can get INSIDE the lamps that hang from my fans. The open part of the lamps face the ceiling so they collect a lot of dust. Getting behind the flat screen T.V. on the wall was also really easy since the handle is slim. I love that when I'm done, I just take off the duster pad and throw it away. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the part where you slide the duster pad on can scratch your furniture if you are not careful. You have to be easy and not press to hard when dusting or it is possible for that part to stick out a little and scratch. I have a tendency to over apply pressure on things, so the average person probably would not have this problem. I tried this duster again today with a fresh duster pad just to make sure i still liked it and to see what it would pick up after only two weeks. I have to say, I'm still impressed. The photo I'm posting shows just how much it got again after just two weeks.

Let me just start by saying we have 4 guinea pigs (We bought Mr. Nibbles at the pet store, she ended up being a Mrs..) well anyway my boys now have 2 cages of piggies in our 4 season room/sun porch. While I am finatical about keeping the cages clean, there always seems to be a fair amount of dust from their bedding. My 2 boys, (6 and 12) also spend most of their time hanging out playing video games and watching TV out there. I love that I can just grab the duster (which now hangs on a command hook) and quickly dust off the tv stand and end tables. The dust sticks to it like a magnet, and it's really easy to reach around cable boxes and video game systems without having to pick them up and dust underneath them. I no longer have to dust it myself, and my boys really don't mind doing it. All in all I am extremely happy with this product. I will continue to buy refills for this product.
