A handy duster for the house
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this product is a must to have in a household. It is light and just perfect length for a short person to hold and dust some impossible-to-reach areas in the house. I was able to reach out to the ceiling fan without using a stool, blinds, top of the curtains, behind TV, top shelves in the kitchen! The Duster is easy to use and as promised the dust stays on. I am allergic to dust (sneeze and rash on the face) but after using this duster, I did not have any of that. That is amazing to me. The only thing I thought maybe Swiffer can improve on is the tip of the duster is a little bit easy to come off. Maybe a little clip or hook that can hold the yellow part in position will be helpful. I kept on re-adjust it because a few times, the yellow part slips off. Other than that, I am very satisfied with this duster and will definitely recommend friends and family to use.
Easy dusting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the sniffers dusting kit with extendable arm. This duster got in tight spaces and allowed me to finally get those cob webs that were just outta reach. It was easy to use and easy to pop off and on a new pad when it got dirty. The duster didn't push dust either, it collected it so it was not just moved it was removed.
Loving to Dust!! Crazy, I know!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Swiffer Dusters makes it so easy to keep your house clean! I love how easy they are to use and how quick they make housecleaning! I can dust my house in record time, and I can reach hard to reach places in my home with ease!! Thank you, Swiffer Dusters!
So easy to clean my fans
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Swiffer Duster Starter Kit. Prior to using this, I has having to grab a stool or chair to clean my ceiling fans. Using the Duster, I was able to easily reach the fans without the use of a stool or chair which made it safer for me in my cleaning. It did a great job of capturing the dust and my ceiling fans will get cleaned a lot more often now.
Locks dust in place
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mom has sciatica and arthritis and the past couple of weeks she has been in a lot of pain so my friend Kathy and I decided to go to her house and clean things up a bit. I brought my swiffer duster and am so glad I did. It is amazing how much dust can accumulate in a couple of weeks but the swiffer duster was easy to use and locked all the dust in place. Before when I would just use a rag to dust it seemed like all I did was spread the dust around but the awesome little fibers catch and hold everything. Because of the flexibility it was easy to get in-between all the little knick-knacks on shelves and the adjustable handle allowed us to reach the fans and corners on the ceiling without having to stop to find a step stool.
Wonderful necessity!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that the Swiffer 360 duster is absolutely amazing! I showed my mom how easy it was to use and she loved it so much she took mine! She is disabled and has limited mobility and she was so excited that she was able to use it with no problems. I had to go buy me another one but that's ok. The telescopic handle makes those hard to reach areas a breeze to clean. No more having to climb on a chair to reach. I also love that while using it there is no dust being spread or flying around because the fibers hold it all in. The handle is very comfortable to hold even with my arthritic hands.
Convenient little duster
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the Swiffer Duster and I immediately had to try it out. Be careful when removing your swiffer, it is securely packaged so it remains in tact, I could see if one was impatient it could ruin your product. Once I had it out, I fluffed out the duster, mine came off as I fluffed allot but it was easy to put back on, just make sure you put it on properly as I can see it coming off while dusting if you don't. I extended the arm, which is super convenient as my main goal was above my cabinets and my ceiling fan blades. The swiffer worked perfectly, I could see the nasty from my fan blades yuk, the good thing is that the dust stayed on the swiffer and never fell to the floor. After I completed that with the same duster I also dusted coffee tables, the kids xbox's, my window sills and the corners of all my nine foot ceilings/walls. It is light, flexible, simple, adjustable to a 90 degree angle, stores easy since it can compact and does a fantastic job getting the dust and dirt. Personally I couldn't ask for a better duster. It also comes with two additional duster replacements when yours has dusted out, PERFECT.
Best product for dusting!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this since I received it and I absolutely loved it. Although I have cleaned in places that have never been cleaned since I moved in and I'm able to clean them often now, dusting has become a breeze. My house is spotless! Every time I clean, I pull out my Swiffer Duster from the closet and find something different to clean that needs to be dusted. I have to say that even my allergies are less frequent because my house is dust free for the most part. The best part of the Swiffer Duster is the 360 swivel head to get in places that are difficult without moving furniture. It grips all of my dog hair too which helps furniture cleaning become an easier task!
The best duster, period
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this duster. Being vertically challenged, aka short, I have always had a very hard time dusting things that were out of my reach. I'm not good with ladders because I seem to fall off of them more often than not, so I would not dust the fans and top of the cabinets nearly as much as I should have. But that has all changed because of this duster. It has an extendable handle so now I can reach the ceiling, the fans, the top of the cabinets, everything. And since it is made by Swiffer, the duster will grab the dirt and hold on to it, so the dirt is not being just relocated to another spot. When you are done, you just throw the duster and the dirt away. Simple as that.
Dust is going, going, gone!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit came at the PERFECT time. The past two weeks my family has been moving from the house we've been renting for the last year, into our new home (which is still under construction, but we're dealing with it,) and this kit literally showed up on my doorstep the day we finally moved everything out and were ready to clean! Now, I have used regular Swiffer dusters in the past, and although I am a fan, I don't really purchase them that regularly. Why? Because, in all honesty, in my experience a damp rag and a ladder work just as well. BUT, I was still very excited to try out this new and improved version of the Swiffer Duster, and the very first thing I did once I unboxed it was go around to every single fan in the house, ( which was like, 6 fans) and see how well this baby worked! First of all, the handle extends about 3-4 feet, which makes reaching tall objects (like fans and shelves) super easy. For someone who's not exactly tall, like myself, this is a big plus. You can also change the angle at which the head rests, which makes it even easier to get to those hard-to-reach places. So, that part is fantastic, no complaints here! Now, onto the actual head of the duster. Like I said before, I have used the original Swiffer duster, and there is no denying that it works. It's more a question of if it works better than any other method of dusting. I can say flat out that it's a million times better than a feather duster - where feather dusters just toss the dust into the air to settle somewhere else, the Swiffer duster actually picks up the dust, and it does it well. BUT, like also said before, I get just a good of a result using a damp rag. The one real benefit of the Swiffer is the extender pole, which is a lot easier to use than having to grab a ladder and lug it around to every high place you have to reach. Now, what I wanted to see was if the new Swiffer 360 was any better than the original. Verdict? Not really. I'm not saying it's not a good product, because it is. It does the job it says it's going to do, and it does it well. It definitely pick up dust, but like I've said a few times now, a damp rag works just as well. What you're really paying for here is convenience - the convenience of not having to carry a ladder around the house with you. Which, I have to admit, is a very nice convenience. Not having to worry about reaching those higher areas make the job a lot easier, and make it go a lot faster. Is it enough of one for me to continue purchasing these Swiffer dusters? Honestly? It depends on how lazy I'm feeling. Because for lazy cleaning days, yes, absolutely I'll buy these again. They make the job much easier. But for the days that I want my house really, REALLY clean? I'm probably gonna have to stick with the damp rag and the ladder.
