husband like how its soft on his skin -don't feel harsh and it don't leave skin dry... love the scent - smell fresh and clean... manly... not "musky" or too much perfume or smell like a "woman"... likes how its long-lasting... and doesn't mix with his body chemistry to cause a self-conscious "stink"... especially with humid and not so friendly heat here in South Texas!!!

Im in the middle of liking and disliking this product. Its scent smells very refreshing. Its gentle on the skin and doesn’t cause irritation. It works to provide protection against odor. But, when it drys out, it gets sticky on the skin after the next day and makes your armpit odor smell more worst when you don’t wash it after 48hrs. Tried to wash my armpits, but the deodorant didn’t come off after scrubbing it away!

I was a regular user of Dove 48 hour Extra Fresh antiperspirant for many years, and when they recently changed to the 72-hour citrus scent formula, I was incredibly disappointed. It smells like old lemons and celery, and the odor is much stronger than the old formula. I don’t know what caused this change. I bought all of the 48-hour formula that I could find since I figure they’d be soon replaced by the new formula.

My husband keeps this on hand just in case there is a time he runs out of his spray and can't get it at that exact moment. It works just as well as the spray deodorant does at keeping you fresh. Plus it's just as quick and easy to use like the spray deodorant is. We both just prefer spray deodorant over solid deodorant.

My fiance uses this deodorant in conjunction with the body wash in the same scent. The smell is INCREDIBLE. It lasts so long on his skin that I can smell it even a few hours after he's applied it. For reference, he doesn't sweat like crazy so it lasts well on him. The scent i's the perfect mix of fresh and masculine, but is still a hint sweet in a non-feminine way, haha. Ladies, if you want your man to smell good get this!!!

I bought a two pack seeing the extra fresh antiperspirant that I’ve used for 5-10 years thinking it was the same thing I’ve been using!! But no, it was this new formula crap that smells like citrus pine sol pina colada. It’s horrible. I’m throwing both away, as I can’t stand the smell. Horrible choice Dove. Bring back the old formula

My husband was using this for a while and I finally got fed up that the woman deodorants weren’t working so well, so I tried his. It works perfect and it has a very minor scent so I don’t feel like I smell manly using this. I would recommend to those who need something a little stronger.

I have used this for at least 10+ years. All of a sudden the packaging for the stick feels very flimsy. I feel like I am breaking up the material each time I use it everyday. They already greatly reduced the amount of antiperspirant they put in the stick....it seems half full now. Now the packaging itself is not stiff enough to prevent damage to the product inside. I am done with this cheapened product.

If it ain't broke don't fix it! Adding Citrus scent to a extra fresh scent was the worst thing to do for this product! Smells like coconut now! And feels like coconut oil moist paste underneath my arms and it makes this product form a little bitty balls of deodorant underneath my arms that I can feel! Extra fresh scent should smell like clean linens not like a tropical scent! Tell me where I can find the old product before you destroyed this one with citrus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just tried Dove Men+Care Antiperspirant Deodorant Stick Extra Fresh 2.7 oz, Twin Pack. I was very pleased. The best thing is how smooth it was going on. Most white stick deodorants that I have tried feel dry and sticky going on, but not this one! It also doesn't feel wet like other types of antiperspirants! The scent is also really good, pleasant without being overpowering. So far I highly recommend it.
