[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To baseline this review - My usual underarm stink prevention is unscented or whatever-baby-powder-smell-is-being-called-these-days anti-perspirant. I'm not looking to flaunt any particular smell, but rather just want to make sure I'm not blowing stank from my pits. After 1 week of use, the Dove Men +Care Extra Fresh has performed admirably. It goes on smooth, and I've had no irritation at all. As for the smell, it IS a departure from unscented or baby powder, but it is not too overpowering. I sometimes can still tell I've moved on to something more 'adventurous' for the first 10-15 mins, but after that, unless there's a heavy stress/heavy activity period, I feel the same as always. The most 'abuse' the anti-perspirant had to keep up with was about 1.5 hours of adult dad-age floor hockey. I woke up the next day very pleased to not smell like a gym sock. Great stuff. I only docked 1 star, down to 4, again because I'm still getting used to the scent. If this same product came in a 'powder fresh' variety, I'd be very very tempted to switch from my usual brand.

Very disappointing! Have been buying this for years, well the old 48hr formula that smelled citrusy, but recently bought a new 4 pack & not happy with the new formula scent. It smells like coconut. If I wanted to smell like coconut I would buy a woman's formula. My wife kept thinking I had put on some of her coconut hand lotion. Did not realize that it had been reformulated. Won't be buying new formula again. I'll be searching stores for old citrus scent formula or change to something different.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this past weekend I took my son camping with his cub scout pack. At our campsite there was nothing but cold water showers ... when the weather is in the 50s at night cold water showers are out of the question. Thankfully I always back deodorant with me and this time took the Dove Extra Fresh. I would put it on in the morning when I woke and after all the days activities I noticed I didn't smell half bad. It held out to hiking, fishing and all the other outdoor activities. I know the bottle says 48hrs but with what I was putting it through I would us it once in morning and once at night (since as I said cold water showers where not happening) and it did a really good job. I even put some on before I got home and my wife couldn't tell it had been a few days of not showers.

I have used Dove antiperspirant for well over 10 years. Loved it. Recently I purchased Dove for men antiperspirant with long-lasting citrus scent. If this is the only option still available the next time that I purchase antiperspirant, I will be trying another brand. The scent is distracting and disgusting. I am very disappointed in this product change. I am leaning toward throwing it away rather than using it.

This product used to have a decent smell. They changed it to a "72 hour long lasting citrus scent." It is terrible. Without knowing they changed the product, I applied it before going out, and was embarrassed by the way it smelled. When I got home, I showered because the smell was so over powering, but it still did not go away. After another shower, I finally could sleep without the disgusting smell harassing my nostrils. If your desire is to keep people away because you smell like a casino bathroom disinfectant then this is the scent for you :D

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never tried Dove brand deodorant before so this was a completely new product for me. Packaging of the deodorant stick is pretty straight forward and to the point, no fancy stuff. It says on it that it's an antiperspirant but its also a deodorant as it's scented as well. The scent profile is "extra fresh" which to me smells like a clean smelling laundry soap. Not a scent profile i'm fond of but it's not a bad scent at all. The stick itself is a solid but not clear, It's the regular white kind. The outside of the package states that it has 48 hour protection. Not really to sure on the 48 hour thing but I would say that 12-24 hours would be accurate. The stick also says non irritant which I can't really evaluate on because I'm not sensitive towards these products. I would say the performance is average or slightly above average. All in all............it's a good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think dove men+care is a great antiperspirant that lasts all day plus, up to 48hr! I like the extra fesh scent, not to much or overpowering. This has been my go to everymorning before work and it has not let me down.

I had been using this since last summer. It smelled great and kept me dry, but over time I noticed that it left crusty deposits in the pits of my clothing. I had never experienced anything like this, even on shirts I had owned for years. I'll miss the scent and I'll be watching for a new formulation, but until then I'm going to have to use something else.

This product is awesome!!! My husband who is a diesel mechanic and loves to mow and work on cars 24/7 will put this on and you will never smell him. It works better than anything we've ever tried, his friend (who is also a diesel mechanic) came to visit us one time and we gave him an extra stick we had and he loved it and now that's all he uses. On behalf of all diesel mechanics' wives everywhere thank you for making something that finally works for them!

Very flaky and does not last for more than 12 hours. Really wish it lasted longer. The variety of fragrances is nice. The price is fair, but other products last longer and are less expensive. Kind of disappointed by this product in comparison to other Dove products.
