[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was time to buy a new dryer and at first we weren’t excited about spending a lot of money for some thing that we didn’t think we would notice a difference in. We chose LG for their great technology and positive reviews. We were impressed after the first load! We have only had it a couple of weeks so we are still testing the different options but the favorite option so far has been the reduce static button which prevents the clothes from having too much static. The tempered glass doors are also a great feature and give a higher quality appearance than other brands. When we were looking at different brands we noticed scratches on other doors but the LG had none. It’s nice to have a great product when doing laundry and it’s not the dreaded chore it used to be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We originally ordered this item on July 26, 2023. After having received a multitude of damaged pieces, we finally returned all of our order. This included a washer, dryer and two pedestals. We had a dented washer and five pedestals. We are not happy, but we just placed a new order today for the same items, but in graphite black instead of the white that we originally ordered.

We have been able to receive notifications on our phone when the cycles are done, and the updated features are amazing. We are so happy with our purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleased with my new dryer. It has lots of settings but they dont’t usually automatically set to low to I end up just setting it myself. It’s tricky to get it to dry pants all the way this way at first. It catches sand and dirt debris on the door ring and the catcher doesn’t open up like some others do so it’s easier to clean. I love how it looks I just wish it automatically used low heat like most clothing requests.

I'm mostly happy with this product. because I'm blind, I love that I can use the app to help me select the cycle I need. However, I wish the Remote Start button was as easy to find on the dryer as it is on the washer. Also, a couple of the dryer's features aren't working properly. The normal cycle doesn't run rthe length of time indicated by the app, and when it's through it makes a sound that sounds like an error signal, although the app doesn't indicate any problems. Also, the timed dry feature isn't working right either. The dryer just runs for a short while, no matter how much time it's actually set to run. and the timed dry is impossible to set up in the app, which is the way I need to do it.

It makes it easy to remember when you're running around the house doing other chores. Will need to purchase riser though so that it's easier to load since I'm just not use to a low profile like this. Enjoying it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this dryer for about a month and have easily learned our way around the options, I was a bit intimidated at first. I'm a fan of the little song it plays when my load is done. All my laundry easily fits, including our king comforter. We can get our girls' cloths done in one load! I have noticed that when I set it to "normal" dry it does leave some items slightly damp. I know a lot of people prefer this, so items don't shrink, but I am used to drying my items all the way dry. When this happens I just do the timed dry at 20 minutes and it takes care of any damp items. I've also had the opportunity to use the steam function. I can say it definitely works as an assistant to getting wrinkles out! I had a badly wrinkled cardigan, I tossed it in the dryer on steam and I was impressed how it came out. You will need to let the steam function run its full course to see results. The unit is VERY quiet. I leave the laundry room door open and the sound doesn't interfere or overwhelm us, like our old dryer. I am really happy with this dryer and I look forward to trying out even more features!

From washing and drying heavy bedding, husbands golf clothes , delicates, even hats , clothing comes out clean and perfect . If you are looking for a great washer & dryer this is the gold standard. 5 stars LG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer was purchased to replace our 2011 DLGX3876V. Although very similar in features, the DLGX4001B does dry faster and the dryness sensor is more accurate. We chose LG again because of its continued lead in reliability and performance over other brands. One thing was not improved upon was to backlight the control settings. They are very hard to read except in bright room light. I also wish that on a dryer of this class that the display screen was LED rather than of the segmented type. Certain numbers and letters can be hard to read on this display. Finally, the steam function on this new dryer uses plumbed water instead of a user-fillable water tank. I have some concerns about using plumbed water, even softened, versus filling the tank with distilled water. Hopefully mineral buildup won't be an issue. Three quibbles on an otherwise excellent dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The technology in this dryer is wonderful! During our first load, a warning came up that told us that the vent was 95% blocked. I knew that I had just cleaned it so I took the vent off of the roof and found that the roofers had put the vent on to where 95% of the hot air was being blocked. With a new vent and some more work, drying time went from over an hour to about 20 minutes. Without the technology in this machine, I would have never known about the blockage.
