I’ve owned my mattress for less than two years and it has a small hole from the material unraveling. They said it is cosmetic and is not covered under the warranty. How could a mattress less than two years spring a hole. I’ve owned many mattresses and this has never happened. This is not a cosmetic issue, it is a manufacturer issue and they could care less to try and resolve the matter.

This product is really expertly made! While my husband and I were looking at the different mattresses available, it was clear the Stearns and Foster were of a higher quality and craftsmanship. When the mattress and adjustable base arrived and after our first night sleep, we knew we made the right decision. My back felt so much better right away! Even with the price being a bit beyond our budget, we felt confident in what we were buying. It's been a week now with our new mattress and I know we purchased a quality product!

Compared to my first sterns and foster mattress this is a much lower quality. I've tried to give it a few months to get used to it but if anything my disappointment grows. It has very noticeable soft and firm areas.. It almost feels like I can feel the springs in a few spots. I really regret buying it and wish I had my old sterns mattress back.

I’d like to share a review of my new mattress the Stern and Foster ESTATE FIRM EPT. First, I’d like to give you a little background on why I selected this mattress. My husband and I were out mattress shopping because the mattress that was in our home was affected by the Eaton fire In January 2025 and had soot and an odor of smoke. We needed to replace it, which we were ok with that, because even though we had recently purchased that mattress in a 2021 and it wasn’t that old, it had already developed a slope and was not really that comfortable. Actually after it was delivered brand new’ it wasn’t that comfortable. So we were extremely happy to get a new mattress! We went to the local Sit And Sleep and tried, I’d say at least 15 different types, and kind of mattresses in our price range. We spent over two hours in the store trying to find the perfect mattress. I then remembered the story my best friend shared with me a couple months prior to us going shopping, that she had owned her Sterns and foster mattress for over 25 years and she was still so satisfied with her SF mattress! That speaks volumes on the quality, durability and how well made your mattresses are. She loves her mattress. She has the abilities to replace it, but she does not want to because she is very comfortable with it, but here’s the best part of the story. My best friend has gone through several body weight changes since she’s owned the S&F mattress, at one point she weighed over 325 pounds and now she weighs about 140 pounds. Your mattress still supports her and she’s still very happy with it! Now that’s a testimonial! We laid on this particular S& F mattress, and we fell in love with it, even though it was a little more than our budget , we purchased it and that is my testimony. From the minute it was delivered to our home till this point now three months later, we are very happy and pleased with our Purchase! It’s so comfortable and has increased our sleep time. I wish I knew how heavy this mattress was going to be, we have a difficult time tucking in the sheets and blanket. Our old mattress did not sag in the middle, I have to work myself to the side with this one. I also wake up in the middle of the night now since we bought this mattress with pain in my hands, I've tried changing pillows but it doesn't make a difference. Turning the mattress is a real chore. I did not read reviews before buying.

We bought a firm mattress about three years ago and it was terribly firm. Too firm on our backs. We thought we would just get accustomed to it but it didn’t get any better so we decided to go to another store and see if we could just get another less firm mattress. Yes, we should have gone back to the original store (2 hours away) and see what could be done as far as an exchange or such but being busy retired people, we just didn’t do that. I needed to get out of pain (both sides of my neck, shoulders, upper back) after trying to sleep for 8 months on another manufacturer's mattress. I had been to the chiropractor, too. When I tried the Stearns & Foster at the store, I just knew it was the right one. I had no doubt. Every night for the last week my pain has dissipated more and more because of my Stearns and Foster mattress. I'm just so happy that I can finally sleep all night and not wake up after a few hours with pain. The quality is wonderful and makes me happy when I'm changing sheets and seeing how well-crafted this is. This is the only mattress I will purchase again in the future.

I have wanted a Sterns and Foster Mattress for many years. Being on a fixed income, I had to save a little bit here and there, which took me a few years to save enough for my dream mattress. This mattress is like sleeping on a cloud. I have back problems; the firmness is just enough to be able to sleep without pain waking me up in the middle of the night. I get up in the morning and do not have aches and pains in my shoulders or back, which is a blessing within itself. I am yet to find anything about this mattress to complain about.

I studied and shopped for almost two months for new bedding, and in the process came back to Stearns and Foster! There are many more choices in bedding today than years ago, to be sure, but the endgame for me was/is the names Stearns and Foster, plus the association with Tempurpedic. I ordered the Estate Pillow Top Firm Queen and the Ease frame. In two months now, I can fall asleep in five minutes and sleep well all night! No surprise there, as that’s always the way sleeping on a Stearns and Foster mattress has been, since 1960! The Ease frame was a new choice, and the fact that I have an acid reflux issue made the decision a wise one. I am faring well with the adjustable head of bed.
