This is perfect for giving of Christmas cookies and fudge. The red cover is the perfect Christmas color. I bake alot at the holidays and give as gifts..these are perfect. We send out a box to Wi., I use these containers to pkg. the cookies..always arrive intact.

I find this product not only great in the kitchen for leftovers, but also the perfect size depth and shape for other storage needs. I use these squares to seperate sewing items in my sewing cabinet. I also use these small squares and other size squares to seperate and store cosmetic items in the cabinets and drawers in my bathroom. Keeping everything neat, clean and easy to find.....How Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have alway been a huge fan of Tupperware. They make prepping lunches and storing so easy. The Rubbermaid TakeAlongs are fabulous. The bowls are made of nice, sturdy plastic. And the lids fit nice and snugly. I love that after I'm finished using them, that I can just pop them in the dishwasher and they come out just like new! Great addition to my ever growing food storage!

Rubbermaid came out with something the right size for small apples and it doesn't spill when you carry soup. I am truly amazed. I love these containers so much, I had to check online to make sure I could put them in the dishwasher. I haven't put them in it yet, but I will make sure to put them on the top as indicated. If they hold up to the dishwasher as well as they've held up to carrying lunch, I have found a wonderful container. Thank you.

Theses are just the right size (2-cup and 1.2 cup)for bringing a snack or lunch to go. It's so much more economical and healthy to bring your own food rather than buying prepackaged, portion-sized processed foods. The twist-top gives me the confidence that my yoghurt won't leak, and the smooth, rounded bottom makes it easy to get at everything with a spoon. I rarely buy plastic for food anymore (even though these are BPA-free, thank goodness, I still have concerns), but when portability matters, these are my new favorites.

I bought a large set of the Rubbermaid take alongs and cut up fruit to freeze and the container expanded and shattered after 2 days of being in the freezer. I've now had 3 containers crack on the bottom. I'm upset because I love rubbermaid, just disappointed in the quality.

My sister sent me goodies at Christmas in these a couple of years ago. they made it thru the mail with no problem. I have used them ever since. I have arthritis in my arms and hands and need items that are easy to open and close. This product does that. I use it to put extra cake or cookies in the freezer. Also, easy to keep 9x13 cake fresh fresh when put in the containers after baking them. Wonderful for potlucks. My Daughter in Law uses them also and has used them for crayons and papers for my grandson. I like that I can see thru the bottom part. Also they are easy to clean. I would recommend these to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I take leftovers for lunch at work nearly every day. These containers are perfect for many of those delicious foods. The smaller ones are also perfect for sandwiches. If reheating in the microwave, be sure to vent the lid to allow steam to escape. Lids have a nice fit. All pieces are easy to wash as well.

We gave this set to an aunt last year for Christmas and she was thrilled as now she had containers that she could send left overs home with family members. She actually requested another set for this year which we finally managed to get after our store restocked them. So if you give your guests leftovers to take home after that big holiday dinner whether it be Christmas, Easter, Hanukkah , Kwanzaa or whatever holiday that one celebrates This is a nice inexpensive set to get and the large storage container is a nice bo9nus too.

I use the TakeAlongs for a lot of things...they are WONDERFUL for gifts: they work very good for Christmas-load any size up with the goodies and the package (Rubbermaid) is an extra! Soup for a friend to share-fill up the container to deliver and the container is an extra! The TakeAlongs are also great here at home. We have 11 grandchildren and when they decide to see what's in the refrigerator, something is bound to hit the floor! With the TakaAlongs, I know the contents will stay put with the tight lid so I don't have to worry about a spill or glass breaking. I also use the TakeAlong for storage for sewing/craft items. I can see the contents thru the container and the large rectangle holds plenty and I can stack them on a shelf.
