I bought two of these 2 years ago and last year I bought 4 more. I still have them all and they are all in great shape but I will say I have never put them in the microwave as I didn't know I could. I do put them in the dishwasher though..I put the lid on the bottom but I always put the container on the top. I like these because I can stack them in my refrigerator. I use them for potato salad, baked beans, I store my flour in them and they're excellent for cookies too..I have absolutely zero complaints and in fact I plan on buying more..great product..

I love the sandwich containers. I send them with the kids and my husband for their lunches. Perfect size. And not so expensive that if they get left behind - I don't freak out. I wish they didn't stain as easy as they do but for the cost, they are great!

The TakeAlongs® Twist & Seal's are one of my fav products. Good for storage of the perfect portion of soup on the cold winters day. Also perfect size to pack in the kids lunch boxes every day. Which I do. Great for taking things to the beach also in the summer and won't get what's inside soggy.. Love them so much, I have 4 sets and need more.....

I saw these on the shelf and thought I would try them out, as I had never thought of being able to take liquid things in my lunch. I've since used these (the smaller size) to take juicy tomato slices, pickles, cottage cheese, diced onions, salad dressing, and lots of other liquids in my lunch, and have not seen a molecule of leakage. Now I can put all that drippy stuff on my sandwich when I am ready to eat it, instead of it getting the bread all soggy. And I can add the cottage cheese and dressing to the salad I buy at work. I am very impressed. The lids screw on with gratifying precision and the perception of a tight, secure seal. Next I'll try the larger size!

I have always had good luck with Rubbermaid products until these containers. I purchased these for bringing fruit & yogurt in my lunch and they leak. The picture you see with what appears to be chicken noodle soup in it, I would not transport unless it is kept perfectly level otherwise it will leak.I am hopimg Rubbermaid scraps the design and come up with something better ... Worthy of the Rubbemaid name. I try some from their competitors and they leak as well.

Theses are just the right size (2-cup and 1.2 cup)for bringing a snack or lunch to go. It's so much more economical and healthy to bring your own food rather than buying prepackaged, portion-sized processed foods. The twist-top gives me the confidence that my yoghurt won't leak, and the smooth, rounded bottom makes it easy to get at everything with a spoon. I rarely buy plastic for food anymore (even though these are BPA-free, thank goodness, I still have concerns), but when portability matters, these are my new favorites.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking ofor a good carry along storage option that wont just be a clutter mess under the cabinets and these are perfect, they fit together and do not take up alot of space. There is no discoloration on the plastic either which is a plus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would highly recommend rubbermaid. Its built to last long meaning very strong containers very simple and easy to use and its very easy as well to clean. Ridged lids for secure stacking. The containers there self has easy to read measuring marks on them so who needs a measuring cup and there dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and freezer safe. And great for on the go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been trying to save money by taking my lunches to work every day. These Rubbermaid Take Alongs are a great size and value. They are perfect to meal prep ahead of time or simply grab some left overs on the way out the door. I love that they can go from the fridge to the microwave easily. I am so glad I got these.

Greatest storage bang for the buck! Freezer, microwave, refrigerator and lunchbox take along. Been using these for over 8 years for daily cooking, reheating and storage. Freezer storage of soups, chili, cut fruits, surplus tomatoes/puree... you name it. I'm sure I've lost count by now but after buying 50 or more, few of them actually crack or break unless I abuse them with a knife (or my kitchen hammer!). They stack and nest perfectly, a godsend in my tiny kitchen. Oh yeah, did I mention they're bargain priced and available at 3 stores within 5 miles? TakeAlongs are one of those small miracles that might be too easy to forget about. Don't hesistate to replace all other brands of storage you have now, buy all new TakeAlongs and you'll never regret it!
