Leak proof, yes. Good looking, yes. Perfect for handling portions, and smaller quantities. Esp relevant to single person like me. And while I am aware that pitting will occur if heating certain types of foods in microwave, I am EXTREMELY disappointed that pitting also occurs when using dishwasher to clean these!! VERY inconvenient to have to HANDWASH if there is any grease residue!!!!

My sandwiches are like Dagwood Bumstead's...several layers thick. To put them in a sandwich bag always means disaster, because they end up falling apart. This sandwich container keeps everything in its place until it's time to eat. And it doesn't take up any more room in your lunch bag than a sandwich bag either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these to store food in at school. They are very durable. They are very convenient to have on hand. I also use them for my daughters hair supplies. I would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family.

I bought the 4-cup size, and have EXACTLY the same problem others have described. NOT LEAK PROOF. DOESN'T EVEN SHUT!!! I cannot get it threaded on OR get it shut. I think it's actually getting stuck on the little lip meant to seal it on the inside. It appears that there isn't enough gap for the top of the cup to fit. I cannot believe that any serious company would let this out their door, with their name on it. I have lost respect for Rubbermaid as a brand. I will be getting my money back from the store where I bought them, because THEY'LL stand behind YOUR junky product.

I buy these frequently and use them to give holiday dinners and leftovers to my family. I never get them back for some reason, obviously everyone likes them. I like that the lids are red, it resonates with Christmas and Valentines. I also freeze my leftovers in this and have never had a problem.

I have used Rubbermaid products for years and have never been disappointed. I love the take alongs squares - they hold the right amount of food for a lunch or picnic and don't spill! Yay Rubbermaid! Please keep up the great work and continue to make amazing products!!

I love the Take alongs Twist and Seal!! They are the perfect size. I use them for everything, snacks such as grapes and nuts, cereal on the go, in my home office for small items such as paper clips ,coins, tacks, buttons etc. They are see through, colorful and inexpensive . I really like the twist off top. I' m sure I'll find uses for these in other rooms as well.

This is my go to gift for every holiday or event and it is repeatedly well received. It doesn't matter what occasion but is especially welcomed for weddings, new home, off to college, moving, baby showers... I realize it's not a flashy product to give as a present but I've had two friends let me know when they wanted a second set for Christmas! It's a great value and I know it is a gift that gets used daily.

I take the square sandwich-size with me every work day, not with a sandwich but food to microwave. It has never leaked a single drop in my shoulder bag although I put it in on its side. It's the right size for my lunch. I like the handles -- when the food's hot I can still carry it down the hall. Great product all around. Be careful not to overeat anything though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These products are great for packing my lunch to work. I have flipped my lunch box upside down dropped it. Never had a leak. Yhey fit perfect in my lunch box and stack very handy. I heat them in the microwave and wash in dishwasher never had a warped lid yet. Also they work just to store left overs. Love this product.
