I just received my new Windmill AC unit and since we're probably through with the heat here in Oregon (hopefully) I asked a friend to help me put it in my storage closet until next year. I'm hoping it will make a difference in my 1-bedroom apartment. I'll be happy to do a review next summer. I'm looking forward to the quiet it promises. Thanks for what you do.

I purchased two units. The price was a bit higher than I expected, but at least my home will be cool. They were much heavier in the box than I expected. Hopefully they will be easy and light weight enough for me to install. Sadly, I haven’t unboxed/ installed yet, as our weather is still cold. Fingers crossed for a great experience.

I bought my first Windmill AC for my bedroom, purchased from a retail outlet. I purchased a second for my living room after installing the first. Installation was pretty straightforward, especially if you've installed other window ACs. The process is pretty much the same, but Windmill instructions are super clear, and they provide scissors for trimming the side trim. Delivery was fast and smooth. And they look fantastic, inside and out. My bedroom one isn't one of the whisper quiet ones, but I'm OK with that. I like the hum, helps me sleep. I did get the quiet one for use in my livingroom, and it doesn't really interfere with my TV watching. Very quiet, much more quiet than the one it replaced. The app works great! Though you do need to find the right app, there are a few Windmill apps. It also works with Google Home, to turn on and off the unit only. Other controls require the app. Very happy with my 2 purchases!

I recently purchased 2 Windmill air conditioner units. They were very easy to install without taking up a lot of space. The look is very sleek. The units cool our entire home and are so quiet I don't even notice they are running. Unfortunately one unit was damaged in shipping. I contacted Windmill by emai and they responded immediately with a solution. Within days I received a new unit. I would highly recommend Windmill air conditioners, not only for their quality and efficiency, but also their outstanding customer service.

This is our second windmill- we bought one in 2022 for our daughter’s nursery, and another this year for our bedroom. Both are the smallest version. They are great. Attractive as an AC unit can be, relatively quiet, able to be controlled remotely via app (great to turn on when you’re on the way home!), and best of all- they don’t beep when you push buttons or change settings, so ideal for a nursery!

Latest in design and technology. It looks great inside and outside has a nice design that is simple and easy on the eye. Works perfect with low noise level (can hear tv and sleep well) and has a feature of blowing the fan upward. Remote control.. makes it easy to set at ECO temp and it maintains that level perfectly. It is as close to central air in a window unit as your going to get. Best I have ever seen!! Well priced for the quality and performance. Extremely easy to install too!

We are pleased with the performance of the Windmill so far. It arrived at the perfect time- the first week of August 2022 as the heat wave was building back up in the North East. It is a much quieter air conditioner than any we have ever owned. Much needed!

I read a review for Windwill on The NYTime's Wirecutter that described the Windwill as the best looking and easiest to install unit. Apparently also great on electricity. The unit arrived by mail in 3/4 days, was installed in a snap, and looks clean. It is also very efficient! I see my electric bills on a weekly basis -- and even with the high and humid days of NYC in June - there has been little escalation to my electricity use - i.e. bill. Buying online can be hit and miss; the Windmill is a big hit!

Purchased this to replace a cheaper brand I’ve had for a few years in my bedroom. It was easy to install and operate. I’ve noticed a huge difference and improvement in how quickly the room is cooled and maintained on the auto feature. Previous air conditioner never seemed to shut off! I live in an old farmhouse without much insulation so the temp in my bedroom can hit 90 pretty quickly on hot days. The Windmill gets the room cooled quickly and maintains that temp. Finally, I can sleep comfortably!

Replaced an old window unit with a Windmill and honestly couldn't recommend it more to anyone looking for a new window AC unit. The kit that the unit comes with is amazing and really helps to keep the cold air inside, rather than escaping out plastic side panels that don't seal well. The app is great as well. My favorite feature is the kWh monitor, which shows you how much energy the unit is using (or isn't using, in the cast of eco mode) over time. I was pleasantly surprised that the cost wasn't much greater than most other brands you'd find at big box stores. Overall, would definitely purchase another one if I ever needed another unit replaced in my home.
