The thoughtfulness of the design and installation process was fantastic! Little things like them including a pair of nice siccors was impressive.We had a problem with our unit's fan rattling and after working with customer service (who were great) and sending them videos they replaced it with no problems.My only complaint was that they should allow for larger video sizes. 10 MB is way too small to capture the issue.

This AC is sleek and effective. We have two of them and they cool the whole apartment. When one of them malfunctioned gathering ice inside, we reached out to customer service and they resolved the issue immediately by sending a replacement! The new one is working great!

I bought the A/C based on the Wirecutter review. My unit had issues. I sent video to the most excellent Windmill Customer service. The response time was amazing and my new unit is ready to be installed! I’m very happy to deal with a company that is proud to back their products! Thanks to the windmill team!

The design of the WindMill air conditioner is advanced , leading to a quiet- running, highly effective system. I love my new Windmill AC. It cools my living room quickly and quietly but without that artificial iciness that most ACs put out. The air feels natural. The design is modern and low-profile and isn't an eyesore like traditional ACs. Since hotter summers are our new normal, I'm glad to have some relief to come home to!

I bought one of the small units for a bedroom we use as a television and entertainment room. It cools the room perfectly and is quiet enough for us to enjoy television in the same room. So I purchased a second unit for our master bedroom to replace an older floor standing unit, and it has been a better solution for us in that room too. Great little AC, easy to install and easy to control from app on phone.

My air conditioner gets more compliments than I do! It is the most aesthetically pleasing AC you’ll ever find. And, if you’re in it for more than just looks, the performance is excellent! Everything from how the AC is packaged (so thoughtfully) to the installation (so easy) to the functionality (so versatile with WiFi) is A-plus. Can’t recommend Windmill highly enough!

Love the look of this and the installation was pretty easy! Having an app for your ac makes it feel so fancy but it’s also so nice to be able to set it to whatever temp you need before getting into the room. It’s a great machine and blows the air up so it’s not blowing directly on you but is cooling the whole room.

When I first turned it on, I wasn't even sure it was on! The compressor makes a tiny bit of noise when it first comes on for 4-5 seconds, and then after that I can barely hear it. It cools the room much more quickly than my old unit. After that, I can use the Eco mode to maintain the temperature. I was able to install the app with no issues.

I purchased this AC unit in 2023 at the beginning of summer for just under $400. It worked fabulously for two seasons. However, it is a common known issue that the CPU chip gets damaged from too much condensation and alas, it got our AC unit this year at the start of the 3rd season. I did like this unit. It is quieter than other AC’s but still loud (you will not find a truly quiet AC). I did love the smart features but its longevity is an issue for the price. We did contact Windmill directly and they offered a credit ($150) for another unit since there was no warranty, but honestly, I’m not sure I want to dish out that much money for another unit knowing theres tons of claims online regarding this issue, the company hasn’t claimed there is an issue, nor have they announced a fix for it. When the CPU chip is damaged, the unit will not operate properly. It will randomly change settings constantly and will not stop. There is nothing you can do and the result will be a loud machine (constant beeping) with warm air. This has been such a disappointment and I’m sad because this product had so much great potential.
