The design is sleek and it’s much quieter than the previous unit we are replacing. The customer service really is outstanding. I had a question about the size I would need for our room. It was a Saturday so I really didn’t expect to hear back from someone but I did and it was within 45 minutes. I also had a small problem with the unit we received and it’s been handled with ease. I also love being able to use an app to control it. Everything was very easy and were very pleased with the cooling and efficiency.

I had an issue with my air conditioner. I reached out to Windmill. They were extremely responsive and quickly came to a resolution. They replaced my unit. I was blown away! They wanted to my sure my Windmill was quiet and they stand by their product. Loyal client for life!

I ordered the 8k whisper tech and all I have to say is wow! We live in an old home that doesn’t have central air, we do have a mini split, but if the bedroom door is shut, it can reach up to 80° in there. Some years we install the old, loud AC unit in the window but I don’t like it because it’s so loud and I wake up at 2 AM freezing. The whisper tech wouldn’t even wake up a cranky newborn. It is so quiet. I was a bit nervous about opening up the pocketbook because of the cost but it was well worth the money! Thinking about another unit for the spare bedroom. What I love most about this unit is that it auto shuts off when it reaches a certain temperature and the quietness

Overall, I have been very happy with Windmill products - very smart invention to include sleek design and the covering of the side fan panels - how smart!!! Unit looks cosmopolitan installed and not messy. Everything fits pretty snuggly for a good look in the home.Thank you!

TLDR: Our brand new AC never worked, I had a frustrating experience initially with customer support, but I did get a replacement AC eventually and that works. We bought a 8K BTU Windmill AC on Amazon. We got it installed two weeks back. Then in last week’s heat wave, we turned it on and it did not work. Must have had a bad compressor. I reached out to Support on the site’s chat and they assured me they would prioritize sending and installing a replacement because of the heatwave. I also emailed Support and they too assured me that they would reach put regarding the replacement. I didn’t hear anything for a day. Followed up, and still didn’t hear anything. Basically I was ghosted. Then I got an email saying they will send a new one, but not install. I had had to pay a lot of money for the installation. So I sent them the promise I had got that it will also be installed. Then I was ghosted. Finally I sent a stern email saying they could refund me the money for installation and just send the new AC. Then I finally got a response. They sent a replacement and gave me an Amazon gift card for the installation. It arrived quickly (via Fedex) and it was installed and this one works. It looks great. I was very frustrated last week because I was left stranded AC-less during a heat wave and was just plain ghosted. But, the company stands by its warranty and sent a replacement. I am impressed by that and grateful. Thanks to Maggie who responded and took care of everything. I understand that machines don’t always work but a company that stands by its products deserves appreciation.

I haven't bought this yet, but can't wait for it to get here, because it's hot as heck in NYC currently. I like the advertised 'easy install', but the installation video on the product site left me uneasy -- there should be at least two people installing this AC in the AD!

I saw this AC on a news site, and thought it sounded like a great little machine. Now that I have one in my window I can report the Windmill is quiet, easy to control, and keeps my rooms nice and cool. No more roaring when the compressor kicks in. I love it!

I love it I had like three ac’ s now I got one great windmill ac that keeps the downstairs cool and I got one upstairs that keeps the upstairs nice and cool I appreciate the great work u did designing it and how much it works well keeping the house cool keep up the great work at windmill thanks

Have been living with small ACs for a while in a little bedroom. I love that the lights fade and it has an app (game changer on my walk home from work). Otherwise works really well and cools consistently. Very happy so far. Will update if things change

I had to buy a new AC because of a major recall on the brand I had. I'm really liking this unit. I feel like it cools more completely with less effort, it's quieter than most units I've ever had, and it's much nicer looking which isn't important but nice to have. My only, only wish is that they sold a support bracket for it. Needed or not I always feel better with it and my last brand had one designed for it so I got spoiled. :)
