I would not recommend using your same network NAME as it confused my iPhone Wi-Fi and my iPhone was reading the signal as not connected to wifi; however I found it was fine to connect it using the same password. Customer service was great at helping me straighten this out. The Wi-Fi signal was boosted throughout my home which has helped me greatly with my thermostats & reaching certain areas of my home.

Worked fine for a few days and the whole network crashed. I had named the network with the same name that I used on the previous router. It worked fine and first then it crashed. I reset the router, selected a new name for the network and it has worked flawlessly since.

I absolutely love this system. I only wish I bought sooner. I have multiple apps on my phone for my pool, lights, etc. And I tried other systems and still wasn't getting wifi outside. Once I installed these which was super EASY!! and I have no tech skills. I have had no problems, I can even FaceTime outside. love it!!

The Netgear Nighthawk WiFi 6 Mesh System works well in our home and helped expand the coverage like we needed. One satellite had trouble connecting at first but that was the only issue we had. We are happy with how it connects in the basement for our tv and would recommend this system for others. Hopefully it last a long time!

I hoped that using the mesh system would greatly increase my wifi reception on my tv’s and stop the constant buffering! To my disappointment it really hasn’t made much difference. It’s probably just my television’s being older. Still my newer ones still buffer the same?

Never had so many issues with a mesh system before. Satellites kept disconnecting and needed to reboot close to 50 times in two days. Ordered an Eero mesh system and have had NONE of the issues the nighthawk did. This will be getting returned.

I was working great after setup, but afte a week, I couldn't get to connect any devices to it. It turns on and broadcast the wifi but all devices connections fails. I even factory reset it, but no luck.

I got this a few months ago, it performs nicely, no issues, barely need to reboot it, the satellites work without any issues at all. However, it has a severe bug, all of a sudden it doesn't save any configuration changes, for example, I decided to create a separate 2.4 WIFI network, it works fine, until the router is rebooted, then it's gone. I created other items like port forwarding setup, or DHCP fixed IPs, etc, all works great, until the router is rebooted, all settings are reverted. In NetGear forums, other uses are complaining about it, also backing up the settings, and restoring them did not work either, I feel sad because NG was supposed to be a good brand. I think I will trash it and get an Eero.

I have had this system several months now and am completely fed up with this thing. Like others, every time the router gets shut off due to power failure most of the devices on the network are dropped and will not connect until I hard reset this worthless garbage router and go through the whole process of setting up again. The one time I did contact customer service the fix was to hard reset the router and go through the setup process again. Netgear update the lousy firmware and fix this thing or never see a dime from me again. This thing is garbage! Problem is not me or on my end. I have set up hundreds of network without issue so I am not calling customer support to be told what I already know.

I woke up this morning to find that my mesh system was no longer connected to any of my devices. I tried to reconnect and when I searched for it in my wireless settings the network name was not available. I contacted the Netgear support team through chat and spent an hour and a half chatting with them trying various things and then suddenly I got disconnected. Come home from work and try again. This time I call their support team on the phone. They have me go over the same things that the person had me doing this morning that didn't work. Needless to say, I spent over 3 hours to have them tell me unplug it. Let it cool off and try again. If it doesn't work call us back. Are you serious?
