I actually like the chairs for how sturdy they are and with the built in carry strap. However, opening and closing the chairs can be very difficult and sometimes requires another person. The design makes it where them trying to close the back slides on the legs want to move in the opposite direction of where it needs to slide. So, you're perpetually fighting against them and the rage this fills you after a long day at the beach is immeasurable. Give these chairs as a gift to someone you despise.

If all else fails, read the instructions. I own several of these chairs, probably a dozen fir tailgating. Simply pick upwards on the front cloth of the seat and the chair folds itself closed........Dont listen to these reviews from filks who dont read the instructions. They are strudy. Very comfortable and built to last.

I did lots of research all over the internet and visited a few different retailers looking for a good camp chair to purchase and came across this one online. I visited my local Sam’s club and luckily they had it in stock so I went ahead and picked up two of them. I can’t talk about the longevity of the chairs because I literally just bought them, however the initial impression is remarkable. They are very sturdy and comfy. I’d say they go neck to neck to chairs I tested at almost 90 bucks. Therefore for the price these are simply unbeatable. The one thing I have to point out is that these are heavy chairs and if one plans on doing long walks with them I’d say better look elsewhere to something a little lighter. Other than that they seem to beat mostly everything out there in terms of sheer value.

Bought some of these last year. 2 of them that we use on a somewhat regular basis (a few times a month during the summer) have both broken in the same places. We are nowhere near the weight limit and are not rough on our stuff. The 2 plastic brackets that connect the cross bracing with the front arm supports broke on both. Would not recommend or purchase again.

Can't beat the quality for the price. Im amazed at the amount of people giving it one star for the sole reason they cant close the chair. We've used a pair of these dozens of times for outdoor events with no issues. Just fold it back up the way it unfolded. Pretty simple. Maybe the one star raters should stick to a blanket.

I haven’t purchased a camping chair in many years. I was pleasantly surprised by this chair’s construction and comfort, as well as the very reasonable price. The blue color is also easy to look at! I’m very pleased with my purchase, and I have already recommended the chair to neighbors.

Loved the original version of these chairs, and still have a couple. We bought 4 new ones because we loved the ones we already had so much. All 4 are trash...the plastic that holds the front of the seat broke in the same place on all 4 chairs within 6 months.

Lovely, sturdy chair. The hard arms make it awesome. So much easier for these old bones to get up after sitting awhile. A firm arm support is so much better. Higher than usual weight limit allows me to breathe easy when heavier friends and family need to sit. The upper clip to keep the chair closed and the added shoulder strap allow for quick carry and set up at the beach or elsewhere without having to keep up with the storage bag.

After ordering a few different chairs from Walmart and returning them, we finally found the one. So the other chairs even though they said oversized, would dig into our not oversized legs. Extremely uncomfortable. Sadly, the ones we love are no longer being made. Those had a different design so the bar wouldn't dig. We gave these Members Mark chairs a shot and they were the winner. These have a similar design so the bar doesn't dig into your leg. I do wish the back was a little higher. You can't use these chairs at the beach. But for local State parks these are just fine.

If you plan to take to the beach with sand. DO NOT BUY. They open fine, Price is great but the plastic guides are to tight and when sand gets in them near impossible to close. Have to flush and clean guides as they are to tight around leg rails Ex struggle
