The chair is substantially more sturdy than typical folding chairs, unless you pay close to 2-5 times more. Also, the back does not protrude into your shoulders as so many other chairs of this kind where you sit slumped - it helps that the bottom is quite flat. The main problems are 1) folding this thing is ridiculously hard, until you realize you have to slide certain parts (check out youtube for how), 2) the cupholder setup is not adequate - you need more than one pouch for bottles, and put another for phones, etc.

We purchased 2 of these last year. Glad they brought them back so I could purchase 1 for my father to use at the farmers markets. They fold up easily and are light weight and with the shoulder strap, they are easy for him to carry to his booth. They are comfortable & sturdy enough for his back yet easy to get in and out of.

A comfortable folding chair, easy to set up, there is a trick to folding it back up. Lay it down with the back to the ground then push on the two front legs -- don't forget to connect the strap buckle.

Easy to deploy and pack up. There's a belt included to wrap around the bottom to keep it closed so it packs well. It's pretty comfortable for even extended sitting and I like that there's a cup holder attached. It's soft so it doesn't impair the ability to fold it up and put it back in the bag. I also love that the bag has a shoulder strap to carry it around with. Definitely worth the money.

Really like this chair. It has a nice eye bag so you can put your head back and it doesn't fall over the edge of the chair. Easy to fold. My only suggestion.would be the hard arms could be flat and wider. At that point it would be absolutely perfect. This is the second one I have purchased at Sam's Club. The first one I had for many many years and decided it was time for a new one. I had red before and it was faded and getting worn. This time I got light Aqua. Feels comfortable and summery.

Im honestly truly impressed by the quality and construction of the chair. Had the chair about a week now and been using it since. Im a good size guy and it fits me fine and holds me fine. Best part is the price, compared to competition brand names out there.

The chair is comfortable and with the mesh back helps to keep you cool during hot summer days. The chair is sturdy and comes with a cup holder mounted to the side of the frame. So no more floppy cup holders at the front of your armrests blocking your arms/hands and spilling your drink. I like that it has a strap and buckle to keep the folded chair closed when not in use. It does include a shoulder strap also attached to the frame. It does come with a carrying bag to protect the chair and another shoulder strap attached to the bag. My only real complaint is that the armrests, while being padded metal with no give, are very thin and narrow. I would have preferred them to be wider.

The older ones were better. I have one i bought a few years ago and like it a lot so bought another thinking they were still the same. The latch is a strap now and the back of the seat is more rounded so to me, it isnt as comfortable

Once opened they are next to impossible to close. There's a video out there where a guy shows you how to use a hammer to tap on certain places to get it to close. Who wants to carry a hammer with these chairs? No thanks.

The reviews are accurate, it's impossible to collapse these chairs (after just one use!!). We still have the older version from a few years ago and they collapse just fine. We have 2 friends with these same chairs and they have the same issue. I can't figure out why the company doesn't fix the issue.
