I have a teenager, and while this should be self-explanatory, let me explain. She hasn’t taken off her headphones for more than a few minutes in over four years. I was so frustrated at constantly having to text her whenever she was needed, and the in-ear headphones caused a lot of stubborn earwax build-up that we had to deal with. So I got her the Bose Open Ear headphones—and just like before, they haven’t come off. But this time, at least she can hear her surroundings. She’s still able to enjoy her music and podcasts, but now she can respond when someone calls her, hear me without shouting, and even stay aware of what’s happening around her. As a parent, that’s a huge relief. No more isolation, no more ear problems—just a happy teenager who still gets her constant soundtrack, and a parent who doesn’t feel ignored. Because of this, I got a second pair for myself. I had the previous in ear Bose and it never quite fit right. These solve that issue for me and I am overall extremely satisfied.

I have rarely been as disappointed in a purchase. I already have a pair of older Quiet Comfort that I am extremely pleased with: fit, performance, pairing, app, sound and noise cancelling These are the opposite in all those categories. The reviews said these were as good as the current Ultras. Not true for me. The price was right at the upper end of my price point. I should've passed. Also- why the hell are these made with the serial number in a position it's impossible for humans to read?

Bought the earbuds 2 weeks ago. Sound is great when playing through my iPhone. The Noise cancellation mode is exceptional as it blocks out nearly all peripheral sound. But very disappointed I am not able to use the QC earbuds to listen to TV sound via my Bose 600 Smart sound bar. One of main reasons I purchased the earbuds.

Im loving my purchase, however I gave it 4 stars because it does not have the capacity to be found using your phone. I have already misplaced them twice and it would be so handy if we could ping it with the app or if it was compatible with the find my iPhone feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think i received the Bose Open Air about 3 weeks ago and have decided to keep them. They provide a surprisingly detailed sound. Early on i didn’t think i would like the openness since all i ever owner were IEM’s, however, i use these for walks or gym visits and i find i like being able to hear an approaching car and gym noise is not as bothersome as i thought it may be. The best thing i like is being able to wear them for long periods. They are super light weight and i can forget i have them on. There is no heat build up or itchy feeling so they are very comfortable. The one thing i would like on a newer model is for the smaller end to extend a little further into the ear canal. Overall they exceed my expectations…

I don’t like them at all. I wish my old model had not stopped working. I have tried everything to get the fit right but I can’t. I’ve tried to get the noise cancelling to work right but it doesn’t. I have sensory issues and I really need the features to be perfect. Basically I can’t use them but I’m stuck with them.

I bought these a month ago and it took me a bit to find the "sweet spot" but once I found it I have been happy ever since. I am extremely hard of hearing and wear hearing aids that are connected to my phone so I cannot use the Earbuds while wearing the hearing aids but other than that I am very happy with my purchase.

The sound quality is exceptional. My experience thus far has been more functional. The sound drops out for no apparent reason. I have trouble keeping them in my ears. I have followed the advice from the videos to change the ear tips and stability bands to find the best fit. To be fair, I have one ear that is not like the other so the earbud does not stay put.

I have only been using it for two weeks, which has been nice. It is very light and comfortable, perfect for using while I am at work. I used to own a different brand of earphones, but they just hurt my ears and they slip off at times. This one is perfect for my tiny ears. At first, I was not used to the look of it, but now it just looks like an additional accessory. Of course, sound quality is Bose quality! I love BOsE products, as always.

First and foremost, these are the most comfortable open earbuds I’ve ever worn! I absolutely forget that I’m wearing them sometimes. I run during weird hours; a lot of the time in the dark. Great sound quality, but you can hear the ambient sounds! Quickly becoming my favorites!
