Best earbuds ever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've bought many bose products over the years and have never once regretted the decision. As with all their products, the craftsmanship and sound quality is unmatched. I've had these open earbuds about a month now, and I love them. No more trying to find a product that will actually fit in my ears comfortably is over. Took me a few tries to find the right spot on my ears for best sound, and love wearing them, so comfortable.
Great so far
I’ve had these for a few weeks now and so far am liking them a lot. As per other reviews wife says the mic isn’t the best quality sound although not horrible either. Connectivity is easy and can use each bud independently, a must for me. I’ve got super small ear canals and lobe so I was very concerned with comfort/pain over time and them staying put during movement, other buds would fall out with something as simple as a smile. Over all this far I can wear them continuously for 4hrs with minimal discomfort, I give it a 3.9/5. Again stupid small ears. They stay put very well although don’t waste your money on the stay in place accessories are hey make it worse, wasted $9. Last but not least the ANC function. There are 3 off, on, and aware. Off is normal sound obstructed by something in your ear, on is “oh my where did the world go” (I use mine in an industrial construction environment so yeah wow), and aware u can barely hear what your listening too doubt I’ll be using that much. All in all I’d recommend them.
It the bomb earbud and a must have!!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my earbud for Christmas and I’ve been using it every day. I use it at work all day long and I use it when I go for my walk and rollerblading. Now I’m looking at one of the Bose headphone for meditation and traveling I need a quiet surround sound.
I love them best earbuds I've ever bought!!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought these a month ago, and I love them. They sync well to both my phone and my galaxy watch. I get plenty of hours listening time. The best part is when I run early morning, I can play my music and still hear the sounds on the running trail. Same thing when I bike ride, I can hear around me and still listen to music with quality sound.
Worth the money
I bought these open earbuds 3 weeks ago. Best purchase ever. I hate wearing traditional earbuds since they fall out. These earbuds stay in place no matter how i move my head. Sound is great. I was afraid that since they are not noise canceling i would hear everything around me. On the contrary the noise around me is minimal.
Great fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have over 10 Bose products and generally love them. I bought Open Earbuds since I really want buds that won't fall out or feel itchy. These are great -- I can run and jump without ever losing one, and also barely notice I am even wearing them. The sound is great but of course since they are open, the sound is not as pristine as with the regular earbuds. Very good, but not quite a 5. And too expensive!
Surprisingly Great Sound with these Open Earbuds
I was a bit skeptical when I first opened the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds and examined them. I use Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II everyday, so how would the Ultra Open Earbuds compare? I was surprised what great sound these open earbuds deliver. A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME – I am an IT Consultant and work long days with a lot of video and teleconferencing. I enjoy audio books, jazz and popular music. I am a bike rider and a rower and I enjoy cooking as a hobby. USE CASE I have been using the Ultra Open Earbuds for a few weeks now. I really love them, mainly because I can wear them all day without feeling them at all and they deliver high quality sound. In fact, they are so comfortable that I literally forget that I am wearing them. I have worn them while working, cooking, doing chores in and out of the house, relaxing and exercising. These will be my go to on a daily basis. Through all the occasions of use, listening to a podcast or book or taking a phone call in a loud environment (i.e., the mall) proved to be most challenging and required me to turn up the volume beyond the normal level. PROS/CONS. PROS – The brand name means quality sound and manufacturing and they live up to their name. They provide great sound in a quiet or moderately loud environment There are actual buttons on these earbuds that control volume, pause, skip, answer calls, change modes or, most importantly, switch devices. I’ve never had such a functional pair of earbuds – extremely easy to use. (I haven’t hung up on one person accidentally which I have done with every other pair of earbuds I’ve ever owned). They are lightweight and extremely comfortable. I enjoy using them while still being able to hear what is happening around me. The new immersion mode is fantastic. It puts the sound in front of you which may seem odd, but really puts you in the middle of the sound. It’s just amazing that this can happen with open earbuds. CONS – The unusual design takes some moving around and fiddling to find the best fit for my ear and to achieve the best sound. This process wasn’t truly intuitive. There are times when I want to be able to hear my surrounds and other times when I want to close out extraneous noise. When my task requires total focus/concentration (i.e. listening to a book, work phone call), I prefer my noise cancelling Quiet Comfort Earbuds II
Buy something different
For the price I paid, the product is really sub-par...they don't connect...they disconnect...the voice controls turn on and off automatically or just don't work at all...sometimes only one connects and the other is silent...very frustrating product...i wish I hadn't lost my old ones
Bose open earbud
I bought this a month ago and here are the pros -it does not fall during working out -sound is good but can be better considering the price tag -though it’s not noise cancelling it still does a good job Cons- -case cover is not well built. -sound quality can be better.Compared to the other earbuds I used from Bose in past ,this one does not have the same sound quality Overall a good buy if you want an earbud which does not fall off and fits well. Decent sound & longevity (case can charge your buds in 10 minute )
Mostly good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a refurbished pair about a month ago before traveling abroad. They take a minute to get used to but are very comfortable for long-time wear and allow you to stay attuned to the environment around you. I find that often only one headphone will connect and I have to reset the other one by putting it back in the case and taking it out which is annoying for a product at this price point (even refurbished). I don’t have a great sense yet about how much other people can hear what I’m listening to so I’m always aware of that and, until I can get some feedback/testing in with people I know, I find that a bit of a detractor. I’ve also tried to take calls with them and always have to switch to my phone because of complaints about my audio. So these headphones are great for a very specific purpose—comfortable long-term wear when you don’t want to appear “plugged in” and remain aware of the environment around us. They do not match performance for taking calls, noise cancellation, or peak audio quality and that’s because that’s not how they’re designed. They won’t be my main headphones, but I will use them often for those very specific purposes.
