[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had these for a few weeks now, and I have to say. I couldn't be more disappointed in the purchase of these headphones. I expected more than what I got. I expect for headphones that are over $250.00 to meet the basic quality regarding connectivity, call connections, everyday life type things. But this fell short by a long shot. I have Samsung Galaxy Headphones and I have to say the connection never fails, the sound is superb and the clarity is bar none so far. I have had more complaints from people on the other end of the phone. Sometimes they won't connect when I am trying to answer calls. I will say the Pro's are that it has great sound when connected. I feel free and no ear pain. Expectations: if you are going to be a leading company for your equipment, I strongly urge you to be more in line with some competitors to your product. I will be purchasing the Samsung Galaxy Pro 3 to see if this is going to be better than what these are. I am sad and disappointed.

This was my first time trying an open earbud device, and truthfully I wasn't sure what to expect or if I'd like them. Historically, I've only used over the ear headphones or more traditional in-earbuds. That said, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed these! I did find many use cases where I preferred the open earbud design vs. traditional in earbud. However, I also did find multiple occasions where I wished these had a noise cancelling feature (i.e. environments with loud external auditory competition). I'll share some pros & cons below, but overall I'm really happy with these buds. For the price, I know it's not practical for everyone to have multiple pairs of expensive earbuds, but if feasible I think these are a great second pair. Without noise cancelling functionality, I don't think I could commit to these as my sole, primary earbuds. Pros: - You can't tell I'm wearing them (context: I have long, curly hair) - The audio is great even with the open ear concept - I LOVE that you can control the volume from the earbud - They are very comfortable to wear for a prolonged period (if not, you may have to adjust them; slight repositioning is the difference between my ears aching or not during prolonged wear) - These are GREAT for sports (I used them while skiing / running and loved how secure they were & I could still hear the environment) Cons: - They often get caught in my hair (while down) and/or get knocked off when I put my hair behind my ears - They aren't as easy to put in your ear one handed and take some adjusting to get the perfect fit - People standing next to you CAN hear your audio - Immersive audio sometimes has an echo when I'm listening to podcasts or talking on the phone - The open ear concept can get frustrating when you're often in environments with loud external audio competition (wish there was a way to block out noise if needed) All in all, no product is perfect and I would definitely recommend these to others.

I’ve had these a couple of months. Very comfortable, easy to forget you’re wearing them. Great using them for meetings or talking to people while staying aware of your surroundings and being able to listen and respond to people around you. Sometimes they’re not loud enough on conference calls while I’m listening and driving but overall they do what I need. Music sounds good but doesn’t compare to buds that seal your ear.

I have had these earbuds for a few weeks and love the design. Realize they are not noise canceling so pick a different style if you want that aspect. The fit on smaller ears is so so.. running they don't feel secure. My kids love them but they do fall off easily. Sound quality is good you can't hear the music as someone sitting next to them.. I'd prefer better sound in ear but I understand now that this design just isn't the one for me.. but love the ease and comfort and sound overall of Bose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Ultra Open Earbuds for a few weeks now, and I must say, they live up to their reputation as some of the best headphones available. The sound quality is equally outstanding, with deep bass that doesn’t overpower the mids and crisp highs that make every song feel vibrant. I tested them with various genres, and they handled everything from classical to EDM effortlessly.

Awesome sound, but wish it was a bit brighter and stronger at higher volumes, which is needed for running. If I sit still in a quiet room it is quite nice. When I need at higher volumes, the EQ seems to change to a lesser brilliance & power. I’m still not sure. The thing I like best as a runner is no stomping sounds in the ear buds! So annoying! So, this aspect is great. But! I live great audio too. One running review said the Comfort version provides both stellar audio & no stomping feedback.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a little bit of trepidation buying these because of some of the reviews I read about open ear buds in general, but all those fears and concerns were baseless. The sound of these are excellent, but the true differentiating factor is their comfort. They’re very secure on your ears, but they are so comfortable that sometimes you forget you have them on. The other aspect of these that I like is that you don’t feel like you were in a tunnel like you do with some earbuds that fit into the ear canal

I bought these earbuds for my wife after researching several YouTube videos. Admittedly, my wife has never been able to find earbuds that fit comfortably -- until now. She loves them! They don't even feel like they're there. Hats off to Bose on the fit and design. I hope to get a pair for myself.

They work great, function is fine. You just can’t use them effectively if it’s noisy, they’re just too quiet and won’t get nearly as loud as I need them at times. It would have been really nice to have the option to make them louder than I need, especially for the price.
