Light gauge metal. Ok for home use. No locking casters so will move easily on hardwood floor. Drawers open and close easily. File hanger tolerance is exacting. Drawer pulls are recessed - very good design and functionality. Drawer Locking feature ok - keeps honest ones honest. Finish is good. Would recommend if looking a light weight metal filing cabinet.

It was delivered quickly. Reason I wanted this one was the extra draw and the dept of the other two draws. AND the casters. The front two caster when on smoothly, BUT the back two had no bar or frame to attached them to. SO, because I needed it NOW, it sits on the floor unmovable. It also makes the bottom draw is so low, I have to get out of my chair to reach the handle to pull it out.

When it arrived it had a couple of superficial dents that I was able to bend back in place. It is made of a cheap sheetmetal. The bottoms of both file drawers are of very thin aluminum and were both bent out of their channels. I had to use a screwdriver to pry the bottoms back into the channel and then hammer the outside of the bottom back into place. This is NOT a sturdy cabinet, ever at an $80 or $90 price.

I love this filing cabinet! It is worth the price. I did change some things though. I wanted just the big drawers to lock, so I put the locking drawer on the bottom. The bottoms of the drawers have a slit in them for the lock, however. On the bottom shelf, there was no slit in the side for the lock catcher to go into, so I bored a hole. It’s perfect now!

Easy to assemble and the rollers are devine. With a locking key even. Get so much for you money; it's worth every penny. It moved where I moved-from Philly to New York. Would not leave without it. Sturdy, strong yet light weight in getting around. If it does not fit one place, simply roll into another room. Safe and sound.

The mobility on this cabinet is why i chose this one specifically. Even better that it came assembled!

The file cabinet is great, the only issue is the wheel assembly is very vague. The screws are flimsy and the holes for the screws are too small- I decided to leave the wheels off due to the poor design. Overall, good value.

I didnt put the casters on. It fits perfectly into the space and holds much more than my old file cabinet. The key is firmly attached to the inside of the drawer with the lock on the outside.

I like this product a lot... The only problem I have is that the wheels cause the whole thing to move around too much... There's no assembly required just the wheels which took all of 5-10 minutes... It's very sleek looking...

These filing cabinets are somewhat flimsy, although perhaps that should be expected given the price. However, that does not excuse the fact that one of the file cabinets came with insufficient screws.
