This is a great filing cabinet, only problem is I ordered 3 and each one had no keys to lock them, however Hirsch Co. sent me a set just by asking for them, otherwise I would highly recommend them they are well put together, lightweight enough to move into place and beautiful to look at.

I’m very pleased with my purchase of this file cabinet. It’s a perfect size for a common household of two people. The wheels made it easy to move and protect our floors. The top drawer is perfect for pens, envelopes and paper for our printer that sits perfectly on top.

Wow- fast, fast service! It was so fast delivery that on line still Has it listed as preparing. In fact, it came before the others that say its out to be delivered. It was admin in perfect shape. I wasnt sure about having to order it on line, but I am sold on it now!

I purchased this file cabinet to match this exact model I had purchased a year earlier. From Lowe's Home Improvement, I purchased for less than $35 a hardwood-flush-no-bore 36 inch wide door that is now the top of my new big desk. Now I have some space to work.

It is a light weight file. Casters and wheels installed very easily. Lock works and keeps drawers shut. Top drawer does not lock. Hanging files fit neatly and slide easily. This is not a top security file cabinet, but it will keep snoopers and quick thieves out of it. So, it serves its purpose for me. Keeps my files securely locked from snoops or petty thieves. Decent price, great deal. Helps cleanup my office.

This cabinet is small and light. Its not super secure, but I wasn't looking for a safe. I love the small drawer for keeping office supplies handy, but out of sight. All of the drawers open and close easily and quietly. Only the top two drawers lock, but that's enough for my needs. The wheels make it easy to rearrange my office when I want to. It keeps my important paperwork organized, private, and most important, safe from pets, and toddlers!!

It is nice looking and light weight. Not a heavy duty file and not really secure. The lock is "rinky-dink", but I don't need to lock it. You don't need to buy metal filing racks to go inside the drawers. The file holders slide on a groove inside the drawer. It was worth the price to me.

I ordered two of these lightweight, black 3-drawer filing cabinets to reorganize some of my household files. The first one arrived quickly on my front porch within only a few days after I placed my order. It was in perfect condition, and fairly easy installation of the wheels was all that was needed before I could use it. I discovered the second filing cabinet down near the end of my driveway early the next morning. The box had been slightly damaged, and when I removed the filing cabinet, I noticed a corresponding slight depression and tiny scratch in the lower part of the right side of the cabinet. (Perhaps this was a shipping issue.) Since the damage was so minimal, was not visible at all when the two cabinets are placed side by side, and does not affect the usability of the cabinet at all, I decided to keep both of them. The wheels on the bottom are nice for mobility, and the recessed handles give them a smooth profile. These lightweight filing cabinets are fine for home use, but if you need something for a home business, you might want to find something a bit stronger. As with all filing cabinets, it is advisable to fill the bottom drawer first, as the full bottom drawer provides a counter balance for the weight of a full upper file drawer. Keeping the bottom drawer closed when accessing the upper file drawer, will ensure that the whole cabinet does not tip forward when the full top file drawer is opened. In other words, for safety, open only one drawer at a time. I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend these filing cabinets.

It was delivered quickly. Reason I wanted this one was the extra draw and the dept of the other two draws. AND the casters. The front two caster when on smoothly, BUT the back two had no bar or frame to attached them to. SO, because I needed it NOW, it sits on the floor unmovable. It also makes the bottom draw is so low, I have to get out of my chair to reach the handle to pull it out.

When it arrived it had a couple of superficial dents that I was able to bend back in place. It is made of a cheap sheetmetal. The bottoms of both file drawers are of very thin aluminum and were both bent out of their channels. I had to use a screwdriver to pry the bottoms back into the channel and then hammer the outside of the bottom back into place. This is NOT a sturdy cabinet, ever at an $80 or $90 price.
