It's definitely inexpensive material but it worked well for the DIY filing cabinet desk I made. Unfortunately, I had to return 1 of 2 because one of the drawer pulls was missing which just leaves a large hole in the middle of the drawer. I reordered the item through Amazon because Wal-Marts shipping would take too long.

Looks nice, good quality and love the wheels and the 3rd drawer. Makes keeping all of my important documents easy to find and well organized in one place. The top drawer is nice to store extra file folders and various office supplies. The lock is a plus for privacy.

I knew this was a cheapy file cabinet and wasn't expecting much, but I'm still disappointed. It came with a dent on the side at the bottom, and the faces of the drawers are also not straight/dented slightly. But it still opens and closes fine so I, like most people, won't bother with a return. But for $70, I expected a little more. If it were priced at $35, I'd give it 4 stars. But for what it is, just an at-home, light use file cabinet, it's adequate, albeit overpriced, IMO.

I purchased this file cabinet for my classroom. I like that it's on wheels so I can easily move it around. Overall this is a nice unit for the price. It is made out of cheaper metal but works for me. My only complaint is that it only came with 3 screws when there should have been 8. I had to go purchase extra screws to attach the wheels.

One week of use...these are definitely light duty. Picked up some for our office in a pinch and although the size and appearance is what we wanted, I doubt they will last. The steel is extremely thin and the lock system is a joke (think soda can pop top). We did not install the wheels due to height restrictions under workstations. The drawers do slide nicely as long as you weight the contents appropriately. I give it a generous 3-star review because I sort of knew what I was getting before the purchase.

Very pleased with this file cabinet. The construction is excellent and the steel is thick. Drawers glide in and out with ease. The outside is smooth black and looks very nice. Installing the castors is a snap. This file cabinet is an excellent purchase for such a nominal cost.

This came quickly, was packaged well, and was easy/light to move. It came out of the box in perfect condition. The only assembly was the attachment of the wheels, which I did alone in less than 10-15 minutes. It looks great in my home office and has helped so much with clutter and organization.

I needed a file cabinet in which to keep important papers, receipts, i.d. information, etc. This cabinet suits my needs to a tee! My husband easily installed the wheels with his drill driver, and I love the fact that I can roll it from place to place. The hanging files fit perfectly. The key locked the cabinet; however, when I pulled on the drawer after locking it, it gapped slightly on the left side. That was no big deal to me. All in all, I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a home file cabinet!

So far so good. The quality is good for a household cabinet. For an office I would probably buy a sturdier one. I love the drawer on top to put stapler and scissors. Just be careful to not leave the 2 bottom drawers open if they are full because the cabinet will flip over!

The description shows this drawer as 26.7" tall, with the wheels. We ordered this to fit under a 27" desk. Even without wheels the filing cabinet is just barely too tall to fit under the desk. Will have to return it.
